I picked up the Snap-On F80 ratchet from eBay after reading a few threads about the best ratchets. I must admit I am impressed and now want to upgrade my 1/4 and 1/2 ratchets. Even though I have plenty of serviceable and good quality ones, more than I will ever need.

I also picked up the 5.5 mm Proxxon wrench. In true GJ tradition, I will likely never need it but didn't have one.

Got this alternator clutch pulley removal set on Ebay for $35. The case halves have a real hinge, not molded as one piece, so that's a good sign.

I use my Jigsaw quite frequently. Most often to finish cuts in sheet goods where the circular saw doesn't quite reach the ends of a corner cut. This goes into the 'convenience tools' category. Bare tool from Amazon in a sealed Bosch box. I have committed to Bosch cordless (replaced my 12 year old DeWalt drill with an 18V Bosch) and now have a few batteries and 1 core.

How do you like those so far? I have had my eye on them for awhile now. Can't afford them at the moment but very likely my next tool upgrade

I’ve not had a chance to use them yet. The finish is great on all of them and they sure are pretty to look at! Lol. I ordered these off of Amazon for $141. Prices were kind of all over the place on different sites and this was the cheapest that I could find them. They’re definitely not a long pattern and if you’re looking for that, you might want to consider another set. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and see many years of reliable use coming from them.

I ordered a Proto 1-13/16 4 angle wrench for a specific job and somehow got the Mac version instead. Not sure how that happens but I guess I shouldn't complain.

Stanley owns them both. One line may get discontinued or just be unavailable.

Care to share that deal?

It was from JB Tool Sales - the only reason I didn’t mention it earlier is because they showed it back at full price within a few minutes of ordering it. I wasn’t very confident it’d actually show up b/c I thought the price might have been a typo... they never said anything about it though and it shipped after a few days. Dunno - every now and then you get lucky!

Last time they did that my order was promptly canceled . Item was a third party seller on Walmart. Shipped and sold from jb tool sales. Around 100$ less than their actual website. By morning it was refunded even though they had stock of the item.

Nice saw, how's the balance with the large battery on it ?

I have 3 sizes of battery, 2.0, 4.0 and 6.3:

Although I have not used it yet, the 2.0 is the closest to neutral as far as balance. However, I'll use the 4.0 or 6.3 as the extra mass should help stability.

The broom handle idea was just to show how balance was affected:

Are those Wera precision screwdrivers orange?

I have a set of them in the typical Wera green, would love to get a set that were orange.

Picked up this to do some suspension work that requires torque+angle. My first ever Snap-On purchase, not to bad for a DIYer.

I've known my wife for 10 years, dated for 5, married for 1, and NOW she tells me that a close friend of her family has been a Snap-On dealer for many years, ummmm, that's need to know on date number two information hahaha. Needless to say, he took care of me.
