I just watched this video on youtube.
Looked pretty good to me. Heres a link to it on Amazon.https://www.youtube.com/redirect?q=...K90t7XxB4iPnliVB8MTU0NjA5NjczOEAxNTQ2MDEwMzM4
I recieved it about 4 days after purchase. I havent had the chance to fire it up yet, but will this weekend. I was impressed with how well they packaged it. The only chincy part of it seems to be the foot pedal. Amazon was carrying it for 775, same as ebay, but it was from the same distributor but eBay had a flash 15 percent off sale for 3 hrs that day.Have you gotten it yet? What do you think of it in person?

That’s like 1/5 of Dynasty’s price. Cheap for a reason? I’d wait for the welder to mature before spending money. Could be a bargain if turns out okay.
has anyone had any luck finding one of these for sale in the last couple days?

That's a nice price, but I would never be able to have any faith in the longevity of these Chinese welding machines. For that much money you're in or nearly in the price range of a used Squarewave 175, Precision Tig, Synchrowave, etc....
What I still do not understand is why decent low/middle TIG welders with "full controls", like the AlphaTIG 201XD (under $700) don't sell a spool gun attachment and add the MIG functionality into the box ?
There are dozens of spool guns to choose from all the way up to the Miller ArcReach® SuitCase® Feeder.
I don't think there is a market for that. You can get MIG welder that welds decent for a few hundred bucks.
Even when the Lincoln 210MP can add a TIG kit for a few hundred as well, but it's not really popular because it is somewhat lacking.
I was searching various thread regarding a tig welder under $1k. I saw a couple of eastwood 200's for sale locally which got me started and I ended up pulling the trigger on an AHP 201XD. Shipped for $670 on their site. I'm really excited. There are quite a few entry level machines on the market right now so the decision wasn't easy.
Thank you all for the ideas and advice.
entry level machines = sucker level machines
Or that's my experience since I bought two entry level machines before buying a professional machine. Not in the same terms but the instructor at the welding class I took said basically the same thing.
