I was wanting some of the alignment bars. I also needed some scrapers. Figured I would pick up one of the pull type scrapers as well. I wonder if the sale is do to Craftsman moving everything to china?

I thought the same thing right away. Seems kind of ominous. I sure hope not. I have both the Wilde made pry bars and scrapers and they are great tools.

16.10 shipping to California for screwdriver set. I’m not familiar with these.. are they even worth their $110 non sale price tag? Similar/better than Proto?

the Wilde tools I have (their name, rather than what they may have made for craftsman in the past) are very good quality. I would place them firmly in the middle, not low end ****, but not truck brand either.

You have to use promo code "FREESHIP" on orders more than $100 to get free shipping.

Sound like maybe comparable to tekton then.. maybe... 🤔

understanding that all tool manufactures do better at some things than others, I view Wilde, Tekton, GearWrench, Proto, Sunex, and others I can't think of right now, all clustered together in the middle, quality wise.

note that some of these brands are really not manufacturers in that they dont make tools themselves, they contract to others to make them, and are really only maintaining a level of quality. it is my impression that Wilde makes their own tools, although I dont know if they resell other manufacturers output under their name or not.

having said that, I find playing games with codes and coupons distasteful. I shouldn't have to remember to put in a code to get free shipping, especially when the floor is 100$.

I love Wilde. I have a set of their picks and punches and chisels. Really nice. Saving up for pry bars.
