I have a Milwaukee M18 RA impact driver that I use for so many things...anything from drilling a hole in a tight spot (with hex style bits) to fastening sockets/bolts with a hex socket adapter. Yeah, it's not pneumatic and not nearly as powerful as a normal impact wrench or driver of any variety, but the idea of it is similar to what you're considering - long and thin with the trigger farther down the grip and away from the business end. I find this design incredibly handy and the tool as an excellent addition to the arsenal. Not the end all be all, but something you'll use a lot. Kind of like a ratchet that you don't have to turn, with the added benefit of being reactionless. No ratcheting action though obviously.
So again, my M18 RA impact is conceptually very similar to what you're looking at, and I love it...I say get one. Any one. That Astro looks nice
