My "man cave". We have a lot of fun in the garage. I built the bar, wall unit and booth myself. The soda machine is a 1957 10 cent Coke machine that I restored. I also have a 30' x 40' shop in the back yard with a two post lift and a wood working shop. For those who don't believe this is a garage, note the front end of my vette in the right hand corner.

My workin shop-work in it hard all the time! I don't clean it every day- I fix my stuff in it nearly every day.

I stumbled on this site about 6 months ago and this is my first formal post. My garage pales in comparison to these but I am taking many ideas from this site to improve the next man cave. I am in the process of relocation so I am looking for a garage, with a house attached. :bounce:

Here are a couple pictures of the current garage, I used old kitchen cabinets and installed a double layer of 3/4" plywood for the top. I also used an extensive amount of pegboard as the 'backsplash'. These pictures are a little old as the kids have out grown the little tykes toys so I have more space now.

I will go back to lurking for now but rest assured I will copy many of the ideas I have learned from the Garage Journal, thanks to all who share their ideas.

A Tennesse snow day! This is just the best. Wish my wife and I still had her F150 in the picture too, but she was at work! :( I like the shop a lot here, cause it doesn't show the mess inside. I love the truck though and wish they still made those (03 dark blue FX4)!!

This would be my favorite picture of my garage. As you can see, it isn't quite finished yet. I don't even have garage doors yet. But after a lot of planning it is up and I can park a vehicle in it. I'm not sure how to explain it - but my favorite picture is when the goal was mostly realized and the potential was there for the taking. I think you know what I mean. BTW - that was about 7 years ago.

I can see that I need to get started on insulation and drywall to start getting caught up to you guys!!!

Like a lot of posts, it's more a pic of the toys that happen to be in the garage.
