bagged, That is a Parkinson vice. I made a poor looking label for mine.
I did call those little Parker’s ‘ cute as a bug in a rug’ a couple of weeks back. No harm no foul.Smitty; sorry to use the word 'cute' on a vise site but that little guy is cute. Nice pickup!

It's like you've been spying on me!sgtgeo:
That came out great!
Now you’re hooked...to get your next vise fix, your days and nights will be filled with endless searching Craigslist, Letgo, Facebook, in your city and ever increasing distances away to other cities. Saturdays you'll be standing in line for early admittance to estate sales. Then cruising the main streets looking for garage sales.
smitty; impressive lineup. how much room is left on that shelf?

I just purchased this C. Parker vise at a garage sale.
I cannot find much info for this model number.
Any and all info is appreciated.
5.5" jaws.
Model No. 25
I'm very new to the hobby of cleaning up and restoring these old vises. I'm pretty sure I found a gem with this one.

Relatively new member, but I've been following this thread with interest for a while now.
Is this a real Chas Parker 974? Or some kind of new vise / imitation? Something about it looks off, but I'm probably wrong. These are the only pics I have.
