Back when we were getting the Werner ladders cheap they cancelled a couple on me after getting shipping notices. They showed up anyway. You never know.

Just be aware that you may not see them in the store.
I had seen them in a display box before the Craftsman takeover and went to buy them after the price drop. Could not find them anywhere. Asked an associate, he confirmed they were in stock but couldn't find them. He said that they may be on a pallet in the racks wrapped up.

At my store, they were on the shelf in the clamps section of the tool department.
I've certainly seen merchandise stocked in unusual places, so maybe look around and also ask for help if you can't find them. If the employees aren't making the effort to find them, go to the CS desk and ask there. If that still doesn't work, you can ask for the manager - and they will usually find them.

I seem to have the opposite problem. Lowe's cancels my order than "forgets" to refund my method of payment. I've had to follow up on my last three cancelled orders to get refunded. Lowe's mails me a Lowe's Merchandise Credit (looks like a typical plastic gift card). Which I then use on my next order, and the cycle continues.

Those clearances out in SW Michigan for .99 about a month after Christmas. Cans are small.

You can buy all kinds of coupons from ebay for a few bucks - that's what I do whenever I'm planning any purchase at Lowe's over $50.
