I'm looking at getting a packout and curious if there's anything new about the boxes themselves or if there's just new addons like the milk crate....
Those die grinders look interesting
They do. I'm just not sure why there needs to be 4 of them.

I dont understand the appeal of the 4-1 M12. Is it to have 1 tool instead of having to buy all 4? Also what is the 4th attachment, the weird looking one, the other 3 are RA, Chuck, Hex.
Pricing is going to be interesting, I can't see the whole 4-1 kit without batteries being less than $250, I'm thinking $279, with 2 compact batteries the whole kit is going to be $400 maybe.
I got a corded die grinder, it only has 1 speed setting which is top speed, with some attachments it's no good
There's not four of them. It's one grinder with four speed settings. they had a display showing the different accessories used at each RPM setting.![]()
What? No Milwaukee underwear? Tool storage is tool storage, after all.
Wouldn’t that belong in the tiny tools thread?
I have an AIR die grinder. Any setting you want. last 100 years

So what's a real-world application look like for an electrician? I'm asking....
Pretty much all we need is an air hammer replacement now. This is some great stuff.
Same here ! I have a portable air compressor which is not slouch, but I have get it out and fire it up to use my dire grinder.I want the die grinders. While air works and is ok, it means either I drag the 30 gal compressor near the work or the work to the compressor
Agreed, that really is about it.
All the automotive youtubers I follow who went said that was the most requested tool at the show.![]()
I agree.
We are down to less and less reasons to turn on a compressor every day.
Air hammer, needle scaler, the tool that cuts window sealant, straight line sanders...
This die grinder, and hopefully a non 90 degree one soon after, are a Great Leap Forward.
I cannot wait for them to come out.
supposedly there was a straight one also, but i cant find any pictures of it.
Anyone help with this ?
M18 platform has had a straight model for a while now.
But isn't the M12 rotary tool basically a straight M12 model?
All good except for the torque wrench which to me is a complete POS. Who spends $700 for a torque wrench without angle in this day and age.
Well don't forget - Milwaukee always seems to hold on to a few things without announcing them. Those are the things that get them over the hump mid year - that gives people another reason to get excited.. one day you'll just find out - Milwaukee released a ------ out of the blue..
I mean - let's be honest here. You KNOW a 15.0 battery is coming..
At the end (4:25) he said there was a inline version coming out january 2020
Betting it's also variable speed, since I think the M18 isnt.
Also betting that would be the bigger seller (according to their research) and why the right angle was released first..
They always seem to do that.. leave the tool that people would PROBABLY buy, over buying BOTH, as the second release.. so they entice you to wind up with both... Just long enough to get over the pain of the first purchase. Lol
Wish I had that new rain shell today.. that's on my list too now.
But isn't the M12 rotary tool basically a straight M12 model?
^^ that's a 1/8 shank, die grinders are 1/4 shank
I sometimes run a 1/4 to 1/8 reducer in my electric die grinder
