Very happy with the impact, kept going back and forth on Milwaukee mid Torque, Dewalt, or Ridgid. For 110.00 I think it will serve my purpose..

Yep. Both are owned by Stanley Black & Decker. Same reason Proto's air tools are identical to Mac's air tools.

The B&D batteries are not as good, but I believe the housing can be slightly modified to fit. They're not a direct fit like the Dewalts/Mac.
I'm curious to see if the new craftsman batteries are a direct swap since they are now owned by Stanley B&D.

None of them are a direct swap. The Porter Cable is supposed to be the easiest to modify to fit other "brands" and the Black and Decker is the hardest. It has a triangle bit on the front that requires you to notch the other brands handle. The Craftsman won't work in anything else. They swapped the polarity on that one so plugging it into another "brand" could be fatal to the tool and/or the battery. It will depend on what protection circuits are in place.
Ok... I have touched other peoples Cable Tie Guns... fondled a few at the store... plastic **** mostly. Then I saw someone here buy this one and post it... figured what the hell...
1. The red body is CAST ALUMINUM... this sucker has heft.
2. It's made in Taiwan... a good thing I think
3. Takes a bit to get as it ships from Taiwan
4. Nicest one I have touched that didn't cost $50+
5. Google and Amazon are your friend... I searched and found this on Amazon.
Pines... Does it snip them off clean so the ends don't shred your fingers/hands? I use a pair of nail clipper pliers for a smooth cut.

Flat cut yes... set the tension with the wheel... so far 1 is the setting I'm going with.
Had it set for max tension and the cut wasn't clean like it is at 1... but when you want it freakishly tight... you might need to compromise.
More experimentation needs to occur.
My first impressions... this tool is farking great.

You won't be able to, they're fundamentally different (and PC). In both, the "brains" are in the battery, and the number of slots is off (by 1). Bostitch can, however, be easily made to fit in DeWalt/MAC.

Yeah those are dope. I really wish they made a smaller version of this. Lisle has a similar set of pliers but the thickness of the jaws makes it unable to reach into tight spots.

My Proto Impact socket sets went from 10mm to 24mm, but I bought the Westling machine socket trays to organize them better than the cheap strips, but the trays go from 9mm to 27mm. So like any good OCD person, I ordered a 9mm, and 25-27mm in shallow and deep just to fill the tray. Still waiting on the 9mm shallow to come off backorder.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the need for a 9mm impact socket. I'd like to meet (and slap) the engineer who spec's a torque value worthy of an impact socket on a 9mm fastener.
These Knipex cutters worked great on chain link fencing. Cut better than the longer Knipex wire cutters that I have.

Probably better off buying an extra 10mm socket, you know you will lose at least one of these.
Can't post pictures yet due to post count. But I've been picking up some new goodies recently. This weekends buys include GearWrench 81230F ratchet set, Wera 12pc screwdriver set, Knipex 10" cobra pliers, Knipex 6.5" needle nose pliers, GearWrench 81027 and 81270 gimbal ratchets, and a cheap 200pc Husky socket set.

That would be an option as well, but I dont know that I've ever lost an impact socket, only the chrome ones seem to run away from me.
Although, just by saying that I'll almost certainly lose one within days.

Spent a good amount of time on the USS Zumwalt for work. Had a nice per diem check to spend on the truck today.
Brass hammer that was on promo. Bought because shiny.
Been lusting over this for a while, and since they were on promo, I pulled the trigger. I have a few flukes at work, and the screen on this thing is heaps better. Really nice contrast and easy to read.
Since I don't have a compressor in my garage yet (working on the sub panel first), this is a nice tool by SO for home gamers without a compressor. Hook it up to your impact and use it as a die grinder.
These were back ordered forever. Glad to finally have them!
