It's for aviation, everything in aviation has a spec. And then thousands of pieces of paper to back that spec up.

I find it so odd that this thread is happening as the other guy in the other thread is trying to figure out how much to tigten his oil filter. Lol
I didnt even realize, this is getting out of hand now. Lol
Let my ask you a question: Do you think it's possible to over torque an oil filter with your TL72? You'd have to use a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter and a cup wrench, but it can be done. The reason why I ask is because I've got the TL830 version and I'm thinking about making it my oil filter tightening ratchet.
.... I still get it too tight though because it still leaks. It's a NAPA Platinum 41040.
I took one back to the store the last time I changed the oil; and this time, I'm going to have to take this one back too. I'm thinking once they're over tightened, they're ruined......
