How long does it take to get warranty items back from Snap-On?
I sent in a couple of bit sockets on 2/10.

I am not a professional mechanic, but I do have Snap On tools. If my tool break, can I get warranty from any Snap On truck dealer?
My local dealer rarely answered and never returned my calls. I sent my ratchet in 2 1/2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard from Snap on.
They don't make calls or send emails on warranty replacements. You will just get a replacement sent probably via UPS.

Kinda like a hold your breath and wait while hoping for the best situation?![]()

I have not heard of a single instance on this forum where someone has not gotten a new replacement tool when they sent it in to Snap-on. Someone posted recently that Snap-on sent them a brand new flex head ratchet based on a phone call and they told him to just scrap the old one. They have a pretty good track record based on what I have read on here.

One thing I do not understand ab SO's non transferable warranty is how can they tell if you are the original purchaser of an item? I only ask because any tool I have ever got off the truck has been paid for in cash, in some instances I have recieved a reciept and in others I have not, I dont hold on to them anyhow but will the corporate really turn down a warranty for this reason? the poster above stated he recieved a new screwdriver for a $5 flea-market item which to me sounds good because I believe they should replace anything that has their name on it regardless.... Just curious Thanks!!
