Spotted this old spray bomb victim for sale. Looks like a major project. The heritage badge is still there on the bottom drawer of the top chest.
200$ full of tools, mostly junk.
After passing on the spray bombed box, spotted this one and bought it.

Nice find OTG. Patience paid off! That logo looks brand spanking new. What's the date code?
Dave T: Love the 8d rollers! If you've gotta live with a spray bomb that isn't a bad one to live with. Somebody took their time with that and did a good job. I like it! Are you able to see the date code on it (inside the drawer behind the logo). The date code on mine is covered up by a partition and I'm wondering if they're all that way.
Thanks JCS, If it is there I can not make it out
I totally agree those are heritage! Very nice sets by the way! I am a sucker for the circle U made stuff [emoji41]

Serious crossbar envy going on here!

I have had this box since 1974. It is date stamped 1955. It is brown because it had almost no paint when I got it and a rattle can of brown was all I had.
It looks like Sears was buying those squares from Miller’s Falls.LS: Love that vise! I'd say your square is late 40s-50s. Pointy A, no part number and the blue paint.
Pardon my ignorance, but would these tools qualify as Heritage logo, thus I presume then would date them to 1958 or earlier?
