So today I was on the truck of my very good Cornwell dealer (biggest dealer along with Matco in the area) and I asked him about the fine tooth ratchets when he pointed to one he had just received from corporate.
The chrome is very nice, and I mean very nice, very fine tooth ratcheting action with a very stiff pawl spring and very positive engagement. Its a 72 tooth design.
He also told me that rebuild kits were not available at the moment so if I were to break it he would just give me a new one all together.
It didnt say where it was made but he assured me that it was made in Ohio along with the other Cornwell hardline, which made me happy because if it was chinese I would have been angry.
Price he quoted me at 86 bucks but since I had been asking him about them for a while he gave it to me for 70
.
Anyways, I wish I could post some pics but I cant figure out my cell phone camera.
I am very happy with this ratchet, its a nice piece for my home tools which I lack.
