Congrats Mike on 10,000 posts! I know it seems like only yesterday that the internet got invented. I was looking at my fleaBay account and I have been on since 2001! Holy ****!:shocking:

I didn't think about that.

My first experience with eBay was back in 2006 when I was selling my race car/street rod. My BIL helped me out setting up the account and helping me post the ad. That was a whole new experience for me and it doesn't seem that long ago.

Yeah, my wife and I have this sickness called "Estate Sale shopping". I use eBay to help pay for our treatment.....

Finally caught up. Awesome thread, as is the Jeep. I will be honest and say I do not like 4 Door Jeeps as in Houston they are show queens and rarely have any mud on them. Yours on the other hand is a beast and is apparent in your pictures, gets well used and properly put to work. Great job and I am also impressed with the state certification accomplishment.

Thank you for taking the time to read through all of it.

I agree about the Mall Crawlers. They are all over here as well. We basically have two camps here. There are those mall crawlers that never leave the pavement and there are those that take their off-road and beat the ever living piss out of them and they don't have a straight body panel on them.

Personally, I want mine to look like the mall crawler that still has pristine paint and no body damage yet I built it to enjoy off-road.

Congrats on the 10K milestone Mike!

Thanks Vincent. I didn't realize I was that close until last week and happened to actually look at my post count.:lol_hitti

Not exactly what I wanted to do when I got home this afternoon.

We barely had a skiff of snow at work today but when I drove the 16 miles north to home I discovered I had 6 plus inches to blow off the drive.

Days like today are when being in the south is nice. 74 degree high with 39% humidity (INCREDIBLY RARE). So the wife & I got out and cruised the 63-1/2 Falcon...

I like your new mud flaps. I would like to try a set on my JK Rubicon, can you provide more info and a link?

I’m still thinking you should fabricate remote control on that blower.

I've got a 318 JD with a 54" blade that would make that more "fun"...or the skid steer.

It's headed our way, should hit by Friday in eastern KS.

Okay, it’s official, I’m ready for spring. This **** is already getting old. Over night it dumped another 7-8 inches of this white ****.

That’s about 14” in the past 24-hours now and we’re supposed to get hit again tonight into tomorrow.

See remote control snow blower or....
Get neighborhood kids to clean snow off then let them you pad for ice hockey. Lol

Is there a problem with ice when you’re done?

Yeah, I had a Polaris ATV with a 48" blade on it at my last place but for big storms I would run out of places to push the snow so I switched to a blower that I could put it out into the middle of the lawn to melt. There is no way I could push it at my new place with as much surface area as I have to clear and limited perimeter to pile it. Even my next door neighbor with his skid-steer was running out of places to put his yesterday and he has a small fraction of the amount of concrete that I do.

I told my wife last night I may have to build a big block powered snowblower so I can throw it from the back yard up and over the house to the street. Now that would be cool.

I showed her a couple of videos of some I've seen and I think she's worried I may attempt to build one now.:lol_hitti

When I was a kid we had an articulated self propelled snowblower. I can't remember the brand for the life of me, but it was when we lived in town. Dad was very popular on our block!

Best of luck. Hope you don't get hit as hard. I think this is probably the most snow dumped in one storm system along the Wasatch front in many years. We've had 4 or 6 inches here and there but 14+ inches in a 24-hour period? It's been a few years since we've had that.

Depends on temps Shorty. If the temps stay low then yes, I have ice to contend with but don't like any of the ice melting routes due to spalding of my concrete so I just let it melt off. I like storms like this last one that get a slight warming after the snow falls so it at least has time to dry off before freezing. Yesterday by the time my son and DIL came over for dinner around 2~ish, my concrete for the most part was already dry with just a few wet spots remaining. Even this morning the temps were still around 40~ish so I hope some more melts by the time I get home but the news just said early afternoon we are to expect another 1-3 inches so we'll have to wait and see what the afternoon holds.

Thanks for rubbing that in Dan. I'm sure you're enjoying those 70-something degrees right now at least aren't ya?

I'm sorry, something took over my fingers and I just couldn't stop. Just yanking your chain a bit there Mike. We actually got down to 35° degrees last night but thankfully the rain quit before that.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Mike I’m liking the direction the snow removal machine is going. I believe a LSX is 427 cubes so that should do it. Get to working, spring will be here before we know it.

JC, it’s tough but someone has to enjoy it. [emoji16]

Ha, ha, ha, ha. You guys are killin' me you're all so stinkin' funny.:lol_hitti

We went to my son and DIL's for dinner last night and it was a whopping 25 degrees when we left and I told my wife I'm ready for spring. That's when she reminded me that technically it isn't even winter yet.

Everyone is just hilarious about this ****.:lol_hitti

I appreciate the jabs though. I know it's all in fun.

Send it to Minnesota...we only got about 8 inches over the weekend at my place. My buddies Cabin in northern WI got 30+ inches...guess where I am heading...
