4813 (in royal blue), was my 2nd box. My first box was the same size, dimensioanlly, as the 4813, but had the single bay with 7 drawers (forget the model number). I traded up from this to the 4813 hoping to have better organizational skills, but it sorta hurt me due to the double bank configuration lacking some space & most small amounts of tools dominating the available space in the 4813's left smaller drawer setup. Excellent choice, size-quality wise, for a starter, entry level tech, or home use box. I know a lot of the past techs I've worked with have the 4813 and the double bank top chest and call it a day and have had that combo for many years, maybe adding the side box and that's it. The only con I could see is space; depth wise. 19" usable space, can only go so far (for someone that has a somewhat sizble collection of tools). I love that my Classic78 had the added depth, moreso than the wider stance.
It was sorta hard, especially if you want to organize a certain family of tool, say wrenches, to one drawer. Nearly impossibly. I think I'll get a krl one day for the simple fact that I could shove all my wrenches in the wide, shallow top drawer and still have a little room left over.
I think the best part is the wide top drawer & the Snap On paint finish. Very nice.
lol, too late but I agree w/ fastkat's reply. I said pretty much the same deal, oh well...
