Say, does anyone have an explanation for this appearing on a store receipt?

A discount applies correctly online, but at the store only -$0.01 is applied with that message underneath. It has happened on more than one occasion when shopping in-store, but I'm not a fan of placing in-store pickup orders due to cancellations and refund issues.

I had it happen on a Fridge I bought a few months ago.
It was already steeply discounted and I used a 10% off coupon and it only netted me something like another $30 off instead of the more than $100 off that would have been 10% off.

That is the lowest they will sell it for. So if you have a Military or 10% off coupon, the price won't change. This started last summer, but I believe the extra text on the receipt is more recent. Probably due to all the complaints. If something no is on sale, military are supposed not only get 5% off.
Blowe's does a great job of not updating their policies for public viewing.
Thanks. I guess I'm forced back to placing orders online, or at least for those times that the quantity shows plenty available.
The photocell sensors for the Portfolio lamp posts are also clearanced. The product page says Touch & Glow brand, but the package says Portfolio Outdoor.

One of the items I purchased recently discounted less for military at the register than on Lowes.com. The manager didn't know how to adjust the price manually, so (per the manager's recommendation) I ended up completing the order online with my phone, and bringing the item to the online order pickup counter to complete the transaction.
That was for an item that showed plenty available in multiple stores, but "couldn't be found" at all but one, so going to the store to get my hands on the item before purchasing with my phone guaranteed success. If I had ordered online (from home) from my local store it would have been canceled.

Wasn't this a Black Friday special? If so, what was the BF price - was it $29.98?
Anyway, it looks like there are a LOT of these available, so I'd count on the price being discounted to 75% off soon.
I've used that method in the past, and that's how I discovered another problem. The website can show plenty available at a store location, but the online price can be much higher than the in-store price.

Seems like a good price, either way. But, I don't see an actual use for a 5-foot ladder. I either need a step stool, or at least a 6-footer around here, and sometimes higher.

I’ve seen those at my store for a couple weeks now. I can’t think of the use/purpose for them? Other than a disposable gimmick?
They are refillable so not really a disposable item. It appears that they can be used for anything a lighter can, but a bit more effective in some applications (lighting a campfire, heatshrink tubing). Apparently can be used for soldering also.

Why do you say that? Personal experience? I see nothing indicating LED doesn't work.

These are excellent for shrink tubing and soldering large battery cable type wires (0/1/2 ga etc).

I see no reason why this would NOT work on a LED bulb...... This sensor has a neutral wire so it does NOT rely on seeking a "current flow path" (series circuit) through the bulb for operation.Mr_fixit

I think I might have made an incorrect assumption. I read the lowes description which specified fluorescent.
I can't seem to find any info on the exact brand & part number, but did find the same part number listed under a different brand. There they state that theirs will work on led bulbs.
So I really don't know.
But I'm going to get one and install it on my post light and then we'll know for sure.

I installed one of these with an LED bulb for someone, and haven't received any complaints.
The bottle opener feature is definitely gimmicky.
My butane torch goes for about $30 on Amazon, so this $2.50 torch is just a cheap backup.
Lowe's here has Christmas stuff at 90% off. Naturally, there's almost nothing left.
I read somewhere recently that Craftsman ratchets sold individually are made in China, but the ones in sets are made in USA. Apparently, not in the sets sold at Lowe's, all the ones I looked at were China.

I bought one of these last year at Menards for about the same price. I use it to light cigars. I put it in my golf bag and bring it when I tailgate. The bottle opener isn't a gimmick it works great. I've refilled mine 4-5 times and still going strong. Disposable? I bought the orange tip one so I don't lose it on the golf course. I would buy another if needed at about the same price. Honestly, I would never pay full price for it. I do love it.

I just looked at TSC website and they had nothing close to this. The ShopVac moves 1800cfm of air and the 1000cfm blower on TSC is $200

The PHONE MOUNTS are a great deal but BE WARNED that you don’t put your phone in the same pocket (or pocketbook) with your "mag strip" credit cards.

Yeah it’s not on their website you’d have to actually go to the store and look if they have any. I think the yellow ones on their site are actually the replacement models. I’m not sure of its CFM though. There are two TSC near me and only one had them when I went on Friday but they had like 4 of them so I suspect there are probably more floating around.
