Thanks for the info in this thread! I was able to pick up five packages of the blue tape. It is POSSible that if I spread them around enough places that I’ll actually be able to find one when needed!

I also was able to find one of those 40 dollar compressors at the same store with the tape.
Their system said they had one but the worker that I talked to didn’t actually *look* for it. (They did not have one on display.) She looked at the top stock on the one aisle that it was supPOSED to be on and flatly stated that the computer was wrong, they didn’t have it.
I had to go there for the tape I had bought already so I looked at the top stock myself. Well, I’ll be darned! I found it sitting all alone exactly one aisle over from its proper spot.
An odd bit about these compressors is that my home store has one on display; none in stock; their computer says its a non-stock item.... this should lay the groundwork for selling the display, right?
No, their computer says they have 15 on order!(?) just weirdness.

While there I also discovered these Chamberlain jackshaft openers. I didn’t even know these were a thing... and I need two of them. But I’m still hoping the price might drop a bit more...

at $399 that is not that great of a price. I got mine on clearance for $316.82 at Lowes a while back and that was an okay price. I think some people were saying they we seeing $299 at the time. It does come with the Internet Gateway that allows for remote opening and monitoring with the app.

I agree. It looks like that price can be met on Amazon everyday. I’ll try to wait them out a little while.
I DO like the idea of dealing with the local Lowe’s over Amazon for anything.

The Kregs jigs aren't at stores near me, and they won't ship.

Those sheds are listing at $499 here. I'd buy two if I could get them for $99!!!

I thought Lowe's didn't play these regional HD clearance games???

I got two of them last July for $473 before tax. They were $263 then I used a 10% off coupon to get them down to $237.

The photocell sensors for the Portfolio lamp posts are also clearanced. The product page says Touch & Glow brand, but the package says Portfolio Outdoor.

Touch & Glow EZ-Change Post Light Photoeye $3.79 to $7.59 (YMMV)

Grabbed this today at my local Lowes (Clarkstown NY). I actually got two of the round insert style for $4.38 on clearance--same Portfolio Outdoor brand. They had half a dozen of the pictured one and 3 or 4 of the round ones. Missed the Blue Hawk welding gloves though--I found a LH only. :)

Certainly cheap if you need it. None anywhere around here. Did Lowe’s even carry Genie garage door openers recently? I haven’t seen anything except chamberlain in ages.

That extension kit isn't on Brickseek. My guess is that is fell behind some shelving and just got found. All the stores near me in NE Ohio are doing a large reset in every department. Deals should be popping up. I saw a bunch of trim on a cart that the person that did the reset left for the lumber employee to discount, as he left a note saying it was non stock. There were a few more carts of lumber sitting alongside it.

I think someone else just posted it, but if not, the light post is down to $7.99 now. My store has 2 different eyes, both on clearance. I had previously purchased the post at about $12 and got a price adjustment. My store had a bunch of lights too, that go on the posts, on clearance at 75%+ off. I bought a light, the post and the sensor for under $25. Now it will sit in the garage for 5 years until I run some underground electric, lol.

Wow! That’s a deal I would grab up quick! Even though these are marked Clearance, it appears when checking the Lowes app that although few stores have them, the 399 looks to be the regular price. I don’t think I’ll have any luck trying to get them off of the price.

The follow up question is: have you had any issues with them?

Last summer I snagged the b1381 openers on clearance from HD for $99. Excellent addition to the new garage doors I installed this last fall. The boxes did sit for a few months, but I knew it was worth it.

A nice dremel kit. I’ve never owned a dremel surprisingly. Seems like a good time to try.

Whoa, that's a great price for the Dremel! I hate that they have those soft cases now, I prefer the hard-shelled ones they came with up until recently. But, just for the Dremel tool and the flex shaft, that's a great price.

This little dude:

It shows “not a valid #” in the app, unless you search a store that still shows one in stock, then it will show this pic. Then you’ll have to probably search the shelves yourself to find it OR you may find it on display.
My local store has one on display.... and won’t sell it despite its being non-stock.

$39.00 is a helluva deal on a new Dremel tool. However, the model 4000 is kinda ******. Better to seek out a model 395 on eBay and put in a new coupling. It is the best Dremel ever made.

I ordered for pickup earlier today. They haven’t located them to notify me for pickup yet but I drove by the store this evening so stopped by and found them in the rafters and bought one. We’ll see if they locate them and notify me or cancel my order.

Lowes cleaned this up quite a while ago.
Some ebay coupons have had some success. Supposedly they generate a code, then test it . . . I'm not getting into the ethnics of using those coupons, there's lots of coupon police around.

On reddit Lowes employees were talking about how they've been instructed to only take printed coupons. No more phone coupons or printer coupons.

Of course YMMV since every store seems to implement policy differently.

I've had the 4000 for at least 3 years and while I don't use it every day it has been rock solid every time I pull it out!
