Has anyone ever seen one of these Goodwill vises?

I can see that it was patented in the US, and I'm wondering if anyone ever did license it for production in the States. It's an unusual design so I figure that someone may recall it if so...
Maybe my artistic skills aren't as bad as I thought! Haha. You nailed it, Vise. That's what it was. I ran into it again yesterday and this time I took a better look and a few snapshots. The guy wanted $80, but those crude jaw caps, which I didn't notice the first time, were a real turn off. Obviously they could be removed, but he drilled the hell out of it. And no pipe jaws. The action on the slide was very smooth though. He countered with $50 as low as he would go but I didn't want it that badly.Lugz- my guess based on your picture is an old Reed combo w/o the pipe jaws (e.g., a 33)

A 9140 Wilton Cadet that I got from my grandfather a few years back when he passed away. Came across this website when I was looking into one day, figured I'd post up some pictures (ignore the messy shop background). May get around to cleaning up some day, but for now it works just fine.

JPZ, You have to remove the "S" in HTTPS" for Imgur pics to show here
Nobody uses each and every vise they own do they?![]()
Nah. My workbenches are as old as that vise, just thick and wide planks of wood. Haha. All I need to do is drill some holes.Finding a mounting position might be harder though...
I don't know. I took a photo of the only marking that looked like a model number. See Pic 4. Edit: Yeah, I guess that's a "31."Is it a "31"?
Drove to Dallas to pick up some early Bronco parts and the guy had LOTS of other stuff. Came home with a Reed 203-R and a Columbian 604 M2 - both have swivel bases, look to be fairly lightly used, and should clean up nicely. Paid $75 for the pair.
Columbian will need some parts, however -- the nut doesn't fit the main screw or vice versa.
No room these here; I already have a Record, Wilton, and Rock Island vises mounted in the garage, and recently set my parents up with a Paramo. Think the Columbian will go to my nephew and the Reed to my sister.

Here's a one off.---A 260lb. Wilton 800N, give or take.---The 800S only weighs 238lbs. so this is defiantly a Unicorn.---And the price reflects that.---At 260lbs., I hope it's take, cause I don't see how we could give it much more.

Does anybody recognize this unusual swiveling clamp on?
The swivel lock reminds me of Parker or ???

Shift that looks like a miller falls

Svt, even if you don't eventually wind up with a rotator, you've got some nice stuff there. ---All the vises look to be in pretty good shape.
Long shot...but here it goes.
I’ve been looking/wanting a rotating vise for a while now such as a Parker or a Flexivise.
So with that being said, everything in the photo is up for trade for one of those, if anything interests you let me know what you would need to have to make it work.
From back to front, left to right.

Vise: You found a really nice 44
Is there a bit of green paint left on yours? I wonder if green was the factory color.
Here is a pic of my 43 1/2 with what I thought might be original paint.![]()
Nice find on the Hollands, it’s really a treat to see old vises in such great condition.I very much doubt that 800N weighs 260lbs, unless it was repaired with lead. I’ve messaged with that guy before and he also had a 6” Wilton bullet that he wants like $1250 for, so he’s just high in his prices in general.
Here’s a super mint Hollands 44 I scooped up last night. Pretty flawless condition and very tight.
