Are your asking about the chargers output voltage? There are dozens of m12 and m18 tools and devices so not sure what pretty source you are referring to.

Edit: one of the tools is called the "power source"! I get it now.

Their website is a hot mess. Manual download tool send to be broken, I can't even get a manual for any of my M18 fuel yard equipment to show up or the power source, after entering the product number like it asks for.

From one of the m18 power source reviews it sounds like it's 12v. The review reads "...I would like a second 12V output! But not a second 12V jack output! I would like a 12V output at the top of the adapter..."

Checking with a meter would be a sure way to know.

Does anyone know the output voltage of the m12 or m18 power sources , the jack, not the USB

Yeah it’s a 12 volt output. They say it’s used to power their heated jackets and what not.

anything that charges via usb uses 5V and somewhere between 500 and 2000 mA. Mobile devices won't charge on 12V power.

"Not the USB"

I have both a m12 and m18 if these awnsers sent defined enough for you I can check mine tonight. Considering the heated gear mostly only comes with m12 stuff I would say 12v comes out of the barrel connection.

The US does have it's limit of 1a, not many new phones use 1a to charge any more.

Does your cpap run on 110v?

You can get 3D printed adapters to use the M18 batteries to power other things. They are pretty cheap.

I used one on my kids power wheels, endless run time and big speed boost.

Oops. I misread, my bad.

Barrel connector voltage depends on the size- they are roughly standardized. Ultimately anything that will plug into that connector will either charge, or not, you won't know until you try it- there's more to it than just the voltage unless the charging circuit in your CPAP is for a very old battery technology.

I don't know what you mean by 'the US has its limit of 1a'.... every non-low-end smartphone currently being made come with a charger that provides 2 amps or more at 5 volts.

Is that a m18 powered power wheels? What size battery are you using and is it as simple as running the old battery wires to the m18 block?

I have the M18 power source. The barrel connector is 12V.

Also, the USB is NOT limited to 1A. That was only in the very earliest release of these. IIRC, mine is 2.1A.

What?!? No. Barrel connector fittings are standardized, but not voltages with respect to the sizes. Again, the M18 power source barrel connector (5.5mm BTW), puts out 12V. Period. That is the SAME output as the M12 power source. Both can power the jacket.

I power my kids power wheels with a M18 as well. My cpap will work on 12-24v, but needs a "recognized" power source..

What model machine. My ResMed machines require a special connector.

Also, I would not expect an M18 battery to be able to supply enough wattage to run the humidifier, plus I'm not sure how many hours it will even run the blower.

Anyway, if it will accept 12-24V, you may be better off buying an adapter that taps the 18V directly.
