I am taking the MaxJax down because we are moving. I have to disconnect the hoses from both the columns and the hydraulic unit. Am I going to get soaked in transmission fluid when I disconnect from the hydraulic unit?

No, just a few drops they have spring loaded seals

If it's all the way down, there will be no pressure in the lines.....
Okay. Thanks. The spring loaded couplers I understand I won't loose much. Its the other side that connects to the hydraulic unit I was worried about. But as you say, if the arms are completely down, then I should be able to disconnect and there shouldn't be any pressure on the lines.

Nope. Not at the head unit...
mine were hard plumbed into the head unit side are yours not also? just disconnect from the columns and coil it up on the cart, that is how its designed.
