Today’s SO deal, free multi-tool with a 3/8 low-profile socket/ratchet set. Its not an amazing deal, the low-profile set is typically £100+vat off the van and while its a lovely thing, I don’t know when you’d use it - ratchet spanner’s are even lower profile.
The multitool looks like a cheap victorinox copy, which were always terrible quality 20 years ago and I doubt they have improved since.

Has anyone ever seen a set of these wheel sockets in 3/8" size? I use my 3/8" Milwaukee stubby impact gun all the time for taking off wheels and keep having to use adaptors with 1/2" wheel sockets.

Snap-On 203FLSM 3 pc 3/8" Drive Lug Nut Socket Set, I have never seen these on the truck though.
Cheaper option, thin 3/8 impact socket and wrap it in electrical tape

Thanks Dakkyz, I didn't know about the Snap On sockets. I prefer the sticky tape approach though!

Depending how cheap you wanna go, Sealey do a somewhat decent impact gun on paper for £100 +- CP400LIHV
From experience using sealey stuff - Chargers will die, the batteries seem to hold up okay, the gun itself needed the screws holding the head in lock tighten.
DeWalt also do the high torque + 1 battery charger for usually around £250 and £200 on sale.

I've got loads of Milwaukee tools so I'll stick with them. I have a big 3/4" gun but the 3/8" stubby does 99% of stuff for me. I can get the 1/2" version for £124 but it's not a real need so I just keep using the adaptors just now. If I could get it for under £100 then I'd jump on it.

Thank you for sharing and I bought the screwdrivers. Not sure if they are made in Germany as my last visit to Remscheid very little of their products are stamped with country of manufacture although their website leads you to believe they still manufacture there. I like the shape of the handle so will see what they are like next week when they arrive.
