Decided to add a couple of Snap-on Techangle Torque Wrenches to my 1/2” & 3/8 clicker wrenches. Only went for the 1/4” but wound up with a 3/8 as well.
$ was about 50% of retail. Mint condition.
Now time for a morning ride:

I prefer the way you do it because all I have to do is click on the smaller image to see the full-size version.
Been drooling over these for a while, finally pulled the trigger...
Oh. I want that.
Hello, which of your screwdrivers you like most and why? Thanks

I grabbed this Snappy 16/18mm "thin" wrench at local pawn basically free. I'm sure there'll be exactly once in the next 20 years at 2am on a Saturday I'll be like "Ah-hah! I have just the tool!"
It costs more than my bench grinder as well. However, I do not have room in my 250 sq. ft. shop for a dedicated bench grinder and a belt sander. So, it is replacing this belt sander and allowing me space for my portaband table. It's also a significantly more powerful belt sander than the one it's replacing when hooked up to my 8+ amp 8" grinder. That multitool belt and disc grinder add-on costs more than my bench grinder.
I think I'd almost prefer to shop an actual belt sander.

I thought I was getting my new vac today...

Well first up is a tool find moreso than a tool arrival. I emptied my hacksaw/prybar/hammer drawer to clean it out and replace the drawer liner and I found a set of Mayhew chisels, no idea how long they'd been in there but it's only missing the smallest 1/4" chisel. Then on my way back from the chiropractor's I saw a "FREE" sign on the side of the road and when I turned around there was indeed a chainsaw. A little 14" Poulan P3314, into the back of the car it went. I started taking it down and found a chunk of the recoil pulley rattling around, it still turned over when I pulled the rope so I continued. Then I discovered that the fuel lines not only did not have a filter but they were falling apart. Of course anything within a 15 min drive was closed already but tomorrow if new fuel lines get it running I may order a new pulley for it.
Well … that ***** and can't **** at the same time.![]()
few new items today:
I've been looking for a 26" middle box for ages. All I can ever find is the "two deep drawer" ones. I wanted at least a 3-shallow drawer unit. I could find them new, but I didn't want to spend $100-150 on one.
Well, I found something even better today! An 8 DRAWER! Sure, it's not a "tool chest" by design (I don't know what it is, a flat file maybe?). But it's 24" wide, 15" deep, and 15" tall, so it fits were a middle box should be, only a little taller.
None of my boxes match, so I don't much care that it doesn't match. I put it up on a piece of MDF so it can hang over the back of the bottom box (and rest against the wall.
It even came with felt drawer liners! This sucker is heavier than it looks, too! It doesn't have ball-bearing drawers unfortunately, but all I want it for is my electronics tools, light stuff like that, so it'll do just fine.
I want that too, let us know if it’s good.
