I thought it was the same thing in a different box?
Need pics of the other machines.... cannot tease me by mentioning a Rivett 1020s with no pix mate.
Won`t let me see the pix, have to be a member.
86, have you seen this gorgeous late model pacemaker in iowa? I'm interested to see what it goes for. Looks like every penny of $6k to me.

If they are "good gouges" the best you can hope for is knocking down any raise burr. Depending how high the burr is, you might want to start with a file....found some pretty good gouges on inner ways up by chuck. Obviously i need to get a couple of stones.
Great idea if I actually had a d1-6 lying around.I had an idea for solving your 12" jaw issue...
Don't use it and swap us a nice D1-6 chuck for this 12.5" L-1 Buck 3 jaw.
If you're interested sent me a PM and I'll send you some more pictures.

Now that's strange. An early pacemaker with a different feedgear box.
That would be about right for around here. Awesome lathe, hope you can get it.

Damn , what a freakin beauty!!!!
Year of mfg is the first two numbers on the serial on front of way right end of machine.86 - Since you were the inspiration for looking for some classic American machinery in particular the Pacemaker, I don’t know whether to thank you or curse you right now!
Here is the latest addition to the shop....
I am trying to decipher the serial number but I think it’s a 1946-47 vintage. Thanks again for the thread. I am looking forward to getting this up and running and making some chips!

This, for sure.
That one looks to be in great shape!
Pacemakers for everyone!

It's a 47. They gave it to you. That was a hell of a deal. From 7k to 2k. And it came with all that tooling and extra Chuck? Smelling like a rose you are.
