Hello all,
I know that there are several companies that produce low profile "pass through" socket sets that user an 11mm external hex drive. What I'm looking for is an 11mm to 1/4" square drive quick release adapter to be able to use regular 1/4" drive sockets with my 11mm external hex ratchets.
I have a Wera Mini 2 set and a Facom R.180HX set and I'd like to be able to use the ratchets with regular sockets.
I have been able to find an adapter that's kinda/sorta compatible, but not really. It's a PowerTorque adapter from Oreilly Auto Parts and it does fit... but I have to use the ratchet upside down and it's tough to get the adapter out. The difference between the PowerTorque set and the others is where the cutouts are for the retaining ring in the ratchet. Facom/Wera/USAG/Wurth/Laser/etc have the retaining ring at the top of the ratchet, and the PowerTorque has the retaining ring at the bottom.
I *THINK* I read somewhere that Matco and/or Laser may have the adapter that I want, but my Google-fu is failing me. If anyone knows of a part number or any reference to such an adapter, I would love to hear about it. Thank you!
