Guys, Brian needs to wait on the truck bed conversion until he recovers from the cost of the lift kit. The bumper guards were expensive but now he has more tie offs for holding multiple lower rollers

Check out this ad that appeared on our local CL last week and forget about the photo - read the description. This sounds like my dream car!

Here's a couple of Heritage era pieces that I discovered last week in an antique store.
I thought the 4-way lug wrench would be underline era, but after I cleaned it up a bit, I think it's Heritage.

Nice grabs! Here is a machinist’s box that the seller decided to keep so I had to be content with a picture.

Picked up these heritage items today while running to get some hardware from Home Depot. Hinge handle not in great shape but detent ball is good and if I passed, I would have found a set next week with mine [emoji23] . Early heritage 1/2 speeder??? I haven’t seen this plated / non plated style yet ? Also heritage 12oz hammer with original handle!

Sorry to hear about that Don. That is the worst when a seller backs out. I could understand not wanting to negotiate but to pull it completely is not cool!

It was fine. He never actually said it was for sale. I just asked to see it and he was nice enough to show me. If it had been really pristine I might have tried to talk him out of it but he wanted to keep it for his kids, which I understand completely.

Don't be a tease. Looks like a top and bottom? What did you have to give up for that one?

Looking for a Round Beam Plomb 1068 Double Box End Wrench

I paid a little cash and a plomb top chest for this stack. 10 drawer top chest and 8 drawer lower roller. Top chest is dated ‘56?? And bottom is not dated? But we know the crown top logo was either late ‘58 or ‘59. In ‘60 the red and grey rollers were introduced. Not very easy to come by these days, especially when Rileysan is close by [emoji23]

I'm sorry, but I'll have to ask you to remove any and all pictures, references, or emojis related to your Crown Top roller, as it doesn't fit into the "HERITAGE" category. In fact, you likely just forfeited that roller. After an official ruling, I will be over shortly to remove it from your shop.

In the name of being correct for this thread, as the self proclaimed Good Samaritan, you should trade me a thread correct deluxe lower roller [emoji23]

Ah, I didn't notice on the other page that your 8d roller is a Crown! That's a process crime so I'll take it to nest with my 10d Crown top!

Seriously though, great find. Odd that at least 3 of us in here have mixed logo 10 over 8 stacks.

I do agree that it is odd. The crown roller isn’t marked with a date but it had a short run so we know when it was made. This one came from Bmwrd0 after he got tired of my incessant sniveling over the years. Plus I returned something to him that he regretted trading so that helped my cause [emoji23]the crown roller will get polished and waxed and will look a lot better once I get the overspray off it. The top chest has been spray painted but I will get it all straightened and get the drawers lubed and see if I want to restore it or not. In the meantime I am just super excited to actually have one!

I picked up this drill right angle tool simply because of the heritage label. If anyone is looking for one of these let me know.

“Blue” Heritage Logo
I posted this earlier today in the “craftsman toolbox Thread” but figured it should be posted here as well.
Went to an estate sale today and picked up what I think is a pretty rare roller set for $40. I just browsed through this whole thread and in less I missed any this will be only the second “blue” heritage logo posted. The other one was post #65 by jbmorrey. Funny thing is that I seen this set in the online pictures a couple days before the sale but wasn’t too interested because they were 3 drawer units. But when I got there and seen the blue heritage logo I couldn’t pass it up. It’s not in too bad of shape. All the drawer handles are tight and the drawers open and close well. A couple dents and dings but that’s all good character. The patina is good and the logos are in good condition. It looks like the original color is a drab green textured or hammered paint. It has the removable top tray insert, which I’m not sure if it’s original but it fits perfect if it’s not. Enjoy the pics

I found this 3/8” drive Circle H set in a repainted Heritage box at a Nevada estate sale today. The tools and box cleaned up pretty well.

A neighbor is going to have to tear down an old storage shed soon. He gave us a tour and I spotted this and was allowed to drag it home. I’m seriously considering replacing the original wire and plug. :scared:

Nice find. I brought one of those home solely to scavenge the logo from the case. I couldn't resist plugging it in (the cord was as bad as yours) and taking it for a spin. Saw purred like a kitten. It's still sitting in the case now. I'll get around to replacing the cord one of these days. It seems like it'd be a great light duty saw to use.

Look what my 83 yo dad had out hidden in his back garage. It needs a lot of TLC but I can’t get over those badges!09dbeebfca9d63aee1c8b19f5f3b907d.jpg4f8cc3a85930a4a2cfb74bdce841ba45.jpgf1e5b1c43b52b27a4d4877e620f22e22.jpg

I got it! Paid $150 and it had the red tray along with a little shelf in the middle drawer!

Been looking for a 10 drawer upper box for awhile to go along with my other heritage top box. I've never seen the little shelf in the middle drawer and was happy to get the lift tray too! I'll be cleaning it up and determine if I'll paint it like I did my other heritage box.

Nice score Madison. Those 10 drawer Heritage tops don’t show up often.

Just took a low-risk low-price flyer on this box (sight unseen). Was Dark Olive Drab ever a thing for these boxes? I told the seller I believed it was a quality repaint (shooting from the hip is a forte) I humbly submit to the experts for your take. Hard to tell from the pics if the Heritage badge is missing or was never there.....

Definitely repainted bur other than the missing badge, that looks to be great condition. Nice find!
