Id like to see that balancer in action and wonder if you could use it for balancing grinding wheels. Anybody got any opinions?
Apologies for potential thread hijack.

I ordered these to replace the 6 ton jack stands I returned to HF. US Jack D- 41610. There's a 4-6 week wait, I'm not in a hurry.

I've only used it on 2 chains so far. Kind of finicky to setup, but once you dial it in, it's super fast. I'm sure it will be a lot smoother after a few more uses. I suggest buying an extra burr in the beginning. I kind of jacked mine up in the learning process. Not too bad, still usable. I have a few ideas on a foolproof first time setup, but I need to test it out before I put it out there.Let me know how you like it! I've been on the fence forever on one of those. Is it easy to swap out the burrs?
Got my new jack stands today. The chips on the lower part of the saddle in the second picture worry me a little. The company just painted over the missing metal.

Very easy to swap out the burrs. There is a set screw on the handle that engages a flat milled into the burr. They give you an Allen wrench for swapping the burrs.
You have to go easy the first time out sharpening with this thing or you’ll damage the burr. As greasy fingers said, it is fiddly, but works well. I don’t use my saw that often, so I find myself going back to the instructions to get a refresher on setting the jig, which is a little annoying. But you’ll get razor sharp teeth, which is satisfying. If you want simpler, try the Pferd files which grind the rakers and teeth together. I’ve read good feedback on those in terms of speed of sharpening and results.
Rad how much did that set you back
HA looks like a hostage situation. I imagine the kid is saying, "I am being treated fairly. I love yard work. Yard work is good for the spirit. All hail Makita yard tools. I am very happy here."

These were on clearance at TSC. A must have if working on German cars. Made in Taiwan.
