Riv, that's my favorite price!
Those should make a nice workbench. What are you using on top?
Jay
That’s the real question.
I’m open to suggestions
Next is moving the 600 lbs work bench

Riv, I like your assortment of work tables. That all wood workbench looks like a beast. Is this DeWalt table from an old RAS?
Pretty sweet view out the welding window...
Jay
Nice job on the workbench move, it looks like a beast. That's the kind of view I want out out my shop window!![]()
Jay
Huh, I've never seen one like that. Do you use the blade guard as a handle and just push down to make your cut?
Jay
I believe that's a foot pedal in the first picture, Jay.

Shop is shaping up.
I'm hoping to build a 48x50 garage/shop down here. Can't get anyone to even return calls for several months now.
Riv, great to see an update. I really like those stand up desks. I wish I had room for one.
Jay
Had a nice little project drop in my lap this weekend.
Going to need some floor space.
Wow, a new bookcase!

Wonderful dory Riv,
How's the condition of the wood?
Royce
Edensaw over in Port Townsend should have it.
A couple problem areas.
A little cutt’n and fitt’n needed. Hard part is going to be finding some tight grain Spruce.
Mostly just a good sand out and recaulking the joints, then some spar varnish.
Should make a great Fall project!d
Excellent project indeed Riv,
You'll be praising those wide planks when you get to caulking!
Royce
Less joints, less caulking!
Plaque states boat is patterned after a Mojean design.
Google says they where common in the Seattle area, and there is still a net shed in Gig Harbor. Mojean dates back to early 1900’s in the area.
Thanks. I’m going to need it.

Cool little project!
What kind of caulk will you use for the joints and can you seal over it?
I don't think that's a desirable quality in a wood boat.
