Its amazing that you can set at a computer and analyze my abilities with so little information. So lets see just how accurate your assumptions are.
1.I bought a toolbox. You got that right.
2. You locked your keys in your box. Wrong The design of the box caused it to rotate from unlocked to locked on its own. Explained in other post
3.Called HF they sent a replacement Correct again
4.Complaint about 15 day shipping not HF fault Wrong They choose who they use to ship parts. The USPS could do it in less than 15 days. It took them 3 days to get the lock to the shipper. I doubt that anyone on here expects something they order to take 2 weeks to arrive. Maybe if it was shipped from China, but not in the US.
5. I do not have the mental acuity to be able to open, drill out, or unlock the locked box.
If you get this frustrated and worked up dealing with a simple issue of how to unlock a box, good luck with working on anything mechanical.
This last statement shows real arrogance on your part. So lets see what my capabilities are. Worked as an engineman on a both conventional and nuclear submarines. Completed a 4 yr machinist apprenticeship at a government installation and operated conventional and NC machinery. Was a member of an EAA Aero club and the owner of the shop had me do the rebuilds on several aircraft engines as well other mechanical repairs. Built my own house with garage and then built my own 40x 60 pole barn shop with two home built overhead cranes inside. Have a 15" Clausing lathe I converted to single phase, and a Bridgeport mill that I run off a phase converter that I built from scratch. I can mig and tig and have my own Miller welders and an Esab. Got a Hypertherm plasma cutter, welding/cutting torch. I built my own ring filer and valve spring tester from scratch and am currently building a *********** bead roller. Got a 10 ft leaf brake and a 4' finger brake, a slip roll, a hydraulic tube bender, and a Sunnen hone. I have three hot rod projects I'm building that include completely replacing a frame with a later model one, boxing a frame and installing Corvette front suspension with a Nascar sway bar incorporated as my own design. It has a triangulated four bar rear suspension with coil overs and a 9" ford rear. Today, when I get off the computer I'm going out to the shop and repair some panels for a friends backhoe. Yea, I'm the guy in the neighborhood that everyone brings their stuff to when they need it repaired.....for free.
So I would say your astute powers of observation got this one WRONG. I would also say that if the worst mistake I ever made in my shop and on all these kinds of projects was to lock a key in a box, I'd be very happy. Obviously, like anyone who works with tools I have made far worse mistakes than that and I have the scars to prove it.
