I ordered a 54" combo from a local napa here in Seattle, what's the best way to get this into a garage and setup? For sure it won't fit into my BMW 135i

Congrats! Nice setup and nice car!
I would load it with friends in a pickup but I'm cheap haha. You could probably pay a little to have a freight or shipping company move its otherwise see if the napa guys could help you out? Sure they have something they could lift it with. Otherwise rent a trailer maybe
Rent a U-Haul pickup and trailer (w/ ramp)
Is it possible to have it shipped by truck?
NAPA doesn't deliver.

They have a forklift there, but I'm going to need something with a lift gate I think and a pallet jack.
And then the question of separating the top and bottom, might just do that with the forklift at napa if they are ok with it.
I never do anything easy....

Other than Harbor Freight, did anyone chose any other box?
You guys have any strong feeling if these will come down in price at all? The 72" is a nice box, but can't say I love it for $1699. Should have jumped on it years ago.![]()
So napa isnt carrying the 72" anymore? Well damn.I went by the big NAPA in town today, and they actually had a black 72-inch RS Pro toolbox on the floor. The two-sided sign had two different prices on it: $1572 and $1720-something, roughly $150 different.
And they said the item was discontinued and there was no stock beyond the floor model, which had a really beaten up stainless top.
If I get the box, it will be via Summit, it appears.

Summit price isnt far off napa but $183 in shipping *****.
Anyone have any long term updates? I am looking to buy directly from Homak now.

Can someone post a photo of how far the drawers open at the back of the box? I looked at some other boxes and it looks like you lose almost an inch of the drawer with it being covered up at the back. Do these fully clear on the top drawers and the other drawers?
I guess the HANDLES technically cover the rear of the drawer below but in person they basically open 100%
Thanks so much! Yes I consider that open enough were if you had something in the back you could still get it out. Are the top drawers the same? On a lot of boxes the top drawers generally open less. Thanks again.
I got the 54" RS Pro and the top drawer now has 2 slides on it! I guess they listened to feedback. I was planning on buying the extras so nice to see it has it now.
Overall I am super excited. Can't wait to fill it up.
I wanted to post an update since I think I've had this box since June of 2018. It is for home use, but 3-4 days a week or so I'm in there. No issues at all thus far. I haven't had any issues with the caps coming off of the handles. Drawer slides are still as smooth as they were when I first loaded the box.
I've attached a picture of the current configuration (just under 9' long). I will be removing the one locker soon to fit the box between the back wall and the chimney in the garage, which is 8'. Eventually I'd like to eliminate the lockers and add the 22" side cab with stainless top, but not in a hurry to do so; maybe holiday sale end of this year.
I do have some minor complaints; none of these make me wish I had gotten another box. I wish the latches were on the outside of the storage area of the drawers, but are still a million times better than the HF latches. And I would sacrifice the center bank bottom two drawers for two 4.5-6" height drawers (like the medium height drawers). I use the vertical plier racks and only got two drawers that work well for those (left and right banks) and both are too small. So I have most in the top left drawer in the racks and the drawer below I have others. I'm still messing with some of the drawers but lets be honest, are any of us really ever done organizing our boxes?
