I put a coat of clear poly on the the drawers I built for the pantry cabinet.
They could have gone in raw but this gives them a little protection from spills and stains. Also, given the tight clearances on drawer slides it helps keep swelling down.

Set up an air mattress and a space heater in it, as I will be sleeping out there for the next 4-5 days. We are relocating and I am heading out on tuesday, but the wife has a cleaning lady coming so I have to be out of the house and stay out until we close on that sell, this coming week. Wife and son are already at our new place.

Finished up the modifications on my old HF sandblast cabinet.

New lighting upgrade, 3/8 high flow air fittings and hose to the gun, switched dust extraction to the back of the box.

Fresh air input to the left side, homemade metering valve installed at the bottom dump latch.

Muffler diffuser on the old shop vac , rivnuts around opening for easier glass cleaning and the protective film.

These changes have made a tremendous improvement !!

Only tidied up and took pics of trailer drop hitches to throw on FB market place to see if any hits come wile I am at work this week. Rather have a couple kicking around dedicated to each trailer, not a milk crate full of misc ones.

Today I cleaned and lubed the chain on my motorcycle. And checked tire pressure and oil levels. Not much.

Got a lot done today :)

I finally finished my twin brothers '66 Beetle. Starting great and running good. I also finished tuning my younger brothers '56 Beetle. It was acting up at idle. Nothing crazy but just time consuming.

Both cars were picked up today also. Now my driveway doesn't look like a used VW car dealer, which I totally like :)

Cut up some steel roofing to be the temp coupling from the new furnace to the existing plenum. Once the AC comes in, I'll replace the mess with the new parts.

Swapped out my primary nozzles back to stock on the Mustang. It was running great until I decided to wash the engine. Sounds like it’s only firing on seven cylinders now.

I removed the distributor cap and found the rotor has been rubbing on the optical sensor housing too.

I have been putting off the upgrade to a digital ignition but the time might have come....

Been bored.... started cleaning out and re-organizing the toolbox. Geez.... I’ve got a lot of extra stuff! So far I have a bin of assorted tools I pulled out of the drawers.

Replaced the two stationary rubber feet on the big HF Predator Generator with a pair of 3" castors. Now I can just roll it around without having to lift the one side.

Im surprised that Unilite didn't leave you stranded years ago.

They were probably one of the worst ignitions ever made. A flint an steel might have been better. IDK if that's an oil filled coil or not, but oil filled coils don.t like to be laid on their side like that. I'm going to assume it's not if it's been that way for any length of time.

Went crazy looking for the NOS "yellow tip" dipstick & tube for my 454.

Can't find it. Figures. Can't get them anymore.

Cleaned out the Mustang of all my personal stuff, expensive exterior detail kit, stand alone electronics, etc. in preparation to send it over to the Transmission shop for a new clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing, rear main seal, throw out bearing, universal joints and O2 sensors.
I will be thrilled when I get a new clutch and can drive it across country again without worry.

I'm surprised by that - I know you only drive it part of the year. How many miles?

Glued up the wine rack that I've been slacking on for SWMBO. Stain didn't turn out quite how I wanted, and I think a few of the kreg screws may have stripped, so I'll wait for the glue to dry completely before I decide whether to retry.

I can always beef it up with some strategically hidden brackets and/or dowel it from the sides afterwards if need be. 718f0a31593414d6cceb405ad1e784b0.jpg

Put some more camp gear away, and then had to deal with the leaves I blew off the screen room roof, before the rains come later this week.

Opened the doors, turned the lights to show the skidsteer I had for sale to a buyer. He wanted to low ball me but he drove 3 hrs pulling a trailer, needless to say his poker face was not very good. I let him think he beat me up over price, but we agreed on the price and I was right were I wanted to be.

New plugs, Oil and Filter for the ride on. Just in time to put it away for the season in another week or two.

Put bearings in my dads car. It’s the 4th set because the other ones were not installed properly when we bought the whole assembly and the two times before that he bought cheaper ones to put in it. 79732237a09063509d105ec099ea6748.jpg001748aeca0ec777d8ac06abc83a3a3e.jpg

I had one on my Chevelle in the 80s, hated messing with the timing curve on that thing since it was all buried under the module plate. ditched it right after I had to replaced the module.

Finally hung this tire rack that's been laying around awhile. Trying to get more stuff up off the floor and these stock wheels for the Clownshoe were in the way.

Fabricated up a stand for my post vise out of some 1/2" steel plate and a 9" scrap hunk of I-beam.

Made a video:
