^ The case looks pretty nice to me. I don't know why you're calling it a POS. Did the vacuum work after you finished?

So the wife tells me this morning that the very expensive Dyson vacuum cleaner is broken. She wants to take it to the repair place immediately. I asked her to hold her horses and let me take a look at it. She very reluctantly says okay.
no let me start this by saying I hate working on vacuum cleaners. There's something about them that I just don't want anything to do with but I think this is kind of like taking my Jaguar to the shop it's going to be expensive if I take it to a repair place.
So once I start taking the roller head apart and cleaning out the copious amounts of hair that she's never cleaned out of it in 15 years I realized that the roller mechanism probably is bound up by hair. I also asked the YouTube to get me a video on this and boom we're up and taking things apart.
Now, as I start to take things apart I realize it's a mixture of Philips 0 and torx 6-10. I have the Phillips but I didn't have the torque small enough so I had to shoot out and find something.
I went to Ace and they had this torx set that went from 6 to 15. Perfect for what I need because I have the larger size torx needed some precision size. The tools seem well made rotating handle and clearly marked.
The case is a POS but what are you going to do. Naturally it has nothing to do with Black Friday so there was no discount, $25 and I got it immediately so I could get back to the house and put the Dyson back together.
Oops, how did the dog get in there?

Wera stubbies looking good.
I’m a sucker for a good deal. With that said I’ve recently purchased a load of different tools from Home Depot, Lowe’s, offer up, eBay and craigslist. I don’t have any pics but it has upped my tool arsenal substantially.

They have't been delievered yet, but Advance Auto has 8-piece reversible Gearwrench wrench sets on sale for $32 bucks. I think with tax I paid $70 for both metric and SAE sets, free shipping too. I've had pretty good luck with Gearwrench stuff.

Right place to post this? Did no one really care about Icon Tools after initial launch?
Anyways, finally got my hands on this Icon double box end flex Ratcheting Wrench set. Product number WRDBFM-5. Chrome nice, markings nice, comes in tray, has offset collar, 90 tooth... Yada... Yada.
I was however able to drill down and find the actual patent applications for Kabo tools and Illustrations on how these work:
https://patents.google.com/patent/US20200156221A1/en
As many may or (or may not) know, these wrenches made by Kabo tool co are quite LITERALLY(aside from markings) the same as other available tools and can also be found branded as:
Matco
Cornwell
Platinum
Mountain
Carlyle
Older Ez-red

Youtube video if you're interested:
Being that these have better size markings than that of Matco and cornwell's "Tool-Truck" versions and the infamous 20% off puts them at half the price, can you really beat them?

i think the problem with icon is it's kind of new and way less visible.
if people were aware that some tool they wanted was available as an icon rebadge at a significant discount, they'd probably buy it. in the case of the wrench set you posted, it's a no brainer.
knowing's half the battle.
Here ya go, https://www.harborfreight.com/professional-double-box-flex-ratcheting-wrench-5-pc-56694.htmlI tried to find these on their website and no luck. What is the item number or link? Thanks

And the fact that they pulled the 3/8 flex ratchet a month after releasing it due to jamming and still haven't gotten an improved one figured out over a year later. Gaping hole in the ratchet lineup. Does not inspire confidence.
I bought that set during the summer and have been really happy with them. So much so that I wrote a review on HF's website... The first picture that pops up in the customer review section is from my write up LOLHere ya go, https://www.harborfreight.com/professional-double-box-flex-ratcheting-wrench-5-pc-56694.html
Apparently they only have Metric, no SAE set as of yet

Yes actually you can.... You can buy the same set with the name "Mountain" on them for $30 less than HF's + 20% off price...Being that these have better size markings than that of Matco and cornwell's "Tool-Truck" versions and the infamous 20% off puts them at half the price, can you really beat them?
