Shelving in new garage. Will get bypass doors and paint.
I really like that. I like the clear floor area under it. Please post up pictures when you get the doors installed.

Really liking all these great ideas! I hope this fits.

Oh yeah - it definitely fits. Great job you big yellow freak.![]()

Hey Pat, I sent the plans to you via email for the air compressor hose and storage rack I made. Let me know if you get it ok.
Anyone else wants a copy let me know.

With the added height, I built a couple big drawers on casters for below. I am using them for power tools.
I plan to do this too but with the premade plastic legs I used the drawer depth will end up shallow but useable for things like drop cloths, sand paper, instructions for power tools, etc.
I wish there would be more room but I still need this kind of stuff so it may as be stored there!![]()
Congratulations to you all!
We passed quietly 100 pages of great idea's to make our places even greater!!
I must have borrowed at least a 50 ideas from here.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks,
Thom

I do actually probably have OCD. The first set of shelves is for my wifes stuff. (House decorations mosty), while the second set is mine. And yes, they are labeled.
Total cost was less than 700.00. I know that seems a little pricey but Im glad I have it.
You’ll be in trouble if you ever want more of those bins, and find they don’t make that style/color anymore!
Yeah, that’s happened to me.

A work in progress:

Just awesome. Here is a start. Getting the garage organization set so vehicles will fit and everything is easy to find.
I suppose SIXTEEN chainsaws is no more unusual than say 10-12 ratchets.....though they take up a helluva lot more space! Lol
Yeah, I assumed this was a business storage system, but if it's a private chain saw collection to compete with the guy that has 30 ball peen hammers...then instead of Kudos I'll give it a WTF. I think I see 20 if you count the two on shelves.

I didn't even notice the two on the shelves!
I've been around here a long time and I didn't know about someone with 30 ball peen hammers, yikes!
Sound like we need a "Non-Commercial, Most of 1 Kind of Tool & How You Store/Display Them" thread. Obviously, FreudianFloyd and the ball peen hammer guy belong. Someone will chime in with 50-60 vice grips or weld clamps. Can't wait to see what people collect.

Regardless it's a pretty slick idea, and seems to store lots of stuff...I can't quite see how they are attached to the uprights (handle hooks?) and at first I thought maybe there were notches between the sandwiched uprights with the chain bars shoved through but I think I see at least one (second from the bottom left side) where the bar is alongside the upright not through it.
I really like the tree trunk storage unit. ---> Link
You guys mentioned ratchets and vice grips and ball peen hammers? I have 25 ratchets and at least 25 sets of vise grips and at least six different size ball peen hammer’s. I think I might need help LOLI didn't even notice the two on the shelves!

They look like big couch feet.Very nice! I'd be interested in a link to the wood bits if you got them commercially.
