Thank you for sharing, your house came out very nice.
I really enjoyed seeing it grow from the plans to completion.

Congratulations, Nils, the house and garage both look amazing. Will you post updates here when you complete any tasks on your s30 project?

All that's missing is an 0.5 litre glass of Feldschlosschen
I'd also appreciate Choc Noir Farmer Bars from Migros![]()

Impressive, to say the least. A beautiful home, and fine craftsmanship throughout. Super impressed with all the technology.
Also, less technical, but still cool (warm, actually)... is that an electric powered towel warmer in the master bath? We need to getone of those. My wife is from Norway, and she wanted a towel warmer when we built this place (as well as heated floors).
Keep the pics coming. We really enjoy them all.
Haha thanks a lot. Those are indeed good things
Here's a video of me driving up the grimsel a few months ago. Turn up the volume and enjoy (wait for it).

Soooo, time for an Update...
eagle-eyed readers might have also noticed that my Z-chassis got blasted and primered in order to get the chassis work finished:

Haha, yeah you might be rightAs soon as you realize this, you will feel better.
The garage will never be done. Always room for improvement.
It is like a drug addiction, you need your next fix.![]()

Thanks a lot for the nice wordsSo impressive. Just saw & read thru this entire thread for the first time. Really, really well done! Congratulations on such an incredible build.
You're very welcome. Indeed, two things you can fairly resistWow! the Z looks awesome . . .
But not sure which is more overwhelming the smell of Bacon or the visions of the Z. Thanks for the update
haha, thanks - Unwrapping the car after it came back from the blaster, with a fresh coat of primerThat gif is the best thing I have seen today!

Also pulled out the good old label machine to label everything nicer compared to those old paper-pieces

How is it that people can move so fast. In the time you build this house and arranged the garage and got the project started I did… nothing? Ok not nothing but I'm stuck in discussions with builders not knowing how to do a renovation of a 1969 house up to new standards (energy efficient).
Indeed, looking forward to put the windshield back in, in 7 years, hahaExiting times with the Z getting blasted!!
I Just re fit the front glass back into mine, I took it out 7 years ago for repairs and blasting!
Shelving and racking looks nice and neat too!
Rudi.
Yes, in Europe the cars came without optional A/C, so many installed (a non factory) Sunroof. which is often an area prone to rust and the reason for warped sheetmetal on the roof. I have a new roofskin and will replace my roof for one without a sunroof.Does your Z have a sunroof opening? I had a 240Z when at University and just afterwards.
Thanks a lot for the nice words, all of youThis is beyond awesome...
