I borrowed this from another thread.I did what I do most days...go out there with good intentions, start hunting tools, get pissed and sit down and stare at all of that **** and wonder how in the world does a man get to this point.....does anyone else find that 90% of their shop time is spent organizing the shop, cleaning the shop or building a new cabinet or bench for the shop? I have gremlins in mine which thrive on moving things and hiding things and straight up tossing things I just had to have and are never seen again once placed in that black hole.

My bil has a Grand Marquis and I did the same thing to it last year. Amazing what 50 cents worth of O-rings can do. [emoji106]A buddy bought a very nice 2006 Grand Marquis a couple of days ago. He got a great price, in part I suspect because the AC, while it made cold air, would only blow it out through the defroster vents. Well, I have a factory service manual for my '05 Crown Vic which covers Mercs too. With a bit of research and testing, it turned out to be the control head in the dash. Best price I could find on one of those buggers is $300 - some places want $600! A bit of googling found a Youtube video showing how to fix the old one! Get this - following the simple instructions in the video, we replaced 4 o-rings in the control head (at a cost of $.02 each) and now the HVAC is back to normal! Well, actually it cost $2.00 - the o-rings come in a bag of 100. So if you have a Ford product with an electronic HVAC control, and it won't blow out the correct vents, go here:
We even had time to wash, clay bar and wax the big beast.
A great day in the shop!
Happy Motoring!
I had AC probs on our 95 T-bird. (ran full tilt or of....) I had occasion to disconnect the battery last year and when I reconnected it a few days later, the AC ran perfect! I guess I rebooted the AC computer...
That's just an amazing comeback...
Odis, wow! That looks like a different car.

Cause you don’t already do enough in a day..lolHave you got a pic of this rig? I'd like to add some chickens to the mix, and my experience with chicks and incubators is about 60 years out of date.
