Craftsman 103 bandsaw accessories

I have an older craftsman bandsaw #103.24280. Anybody know the part number for the miter gauge or rip fence? When I search online, it looks like there was a 103 model table saw and thats what usually pops up.

Most any miter guide from a Craftsman table saw will fit. 3/8" x 3/4" slot.

The 1955 catalog lists it as a 9A2246 the same number listed for their bench top table saw.

I was just going to say the little tilt arbor saws use the same fence, but you do need to cut it down a little to fit.

Well, I don't know which tilt arbor fence is the same. I have a fence here from a 103.22161 which if my memory serves was the same as the 103.22160 saw and it is different. It will clearly work when I get around to cutting it down but it is different.

The band saw fence and rail system is on the left. The table saw fence and rail system is on the right.

That said, you are correct in the fact that it can be cut down. It has an aluminum body and can easily be cut with a miter saw and be made to fit.

Just ordered an old fence and rails off a craftsman 103.0209 table saw. I'm thinking this is the right setup and will just need to cut the fence down some.

Got this fence installed. Turned out good. Added 1" hardwood to each side as opposed to cutting the fence down. Issue I am having now, is my blade changes position on the wheels each time I start it up. Not sure what is going on with that. Sometimes it drifts back like 3/16 or if it didnt drift, it whill the first time I push in to make a cut.

I would think blade tension is low, or your blade guides are not in place correctly.

I recently purchased this same model band saw and I lost one of the blade thrust rollers in transport (since there was no blade in it at that time). I found the owner's manual with a complete listing of the parts (with part numbers) but have no idea who might have any. This manual doesn't show a fence or miter gauge either. I have only begun to look for the part that I need and would appreciate any info you might have. I will also be happy to let you know if I come across any source for the fence or miter gauge that you are in need of.

You can find many of the parts on ebay. There are original and newly made thrust bearings available on ebay as well. I use cold blocks on my my saw. check out my saw thread for part numbers etc.
