Jyzze, just finished reading your thread - your new place looks awesome! I will keep an eye out for new updates.

I am part Finn, my father's parents were both Finnish, so I have grown up with and kept many Finnish traditions. I built a sauna (electric for convenience, but can still throw water on the rocks, Harvia heater), and use a vihta regularly! My wife (who is an honourary Finn) bakes Pulla often. I have not made it to Finland yet but it is on my bucket list - one day!

Thank you couch67! You Are Finn! Harvia heater ( kiuas) is very common allso here in Finland. You Are moust wellcome to Finland!

Nice work Jyzze! Your new ranch looks perfect. How's the hand doing? That's a lot of blood:willy_nil

That is a sweet M/31 machine gun! Would like to have one of those, the prices goes from 1000€ up. You did a great deal!

We didn't have a change to shoot with those when I was in the army. I shot pretty much everything else army has:lol:

Happy New Year Jyzze:beer:

Some day's a go we live exciting moments. Oilheater broke down, My wife told me that she had cold. I try all the radiator's and every one was allmoust cold.:willy_nil Problem was in oil nozzel, it was very dirty and filter, well let's just say It was like original from year 97?
I told My wife and son to heat sauna and take shower because hot water is not available in the morning. I call repair man early in the next morning how gome afternoon to fix the machine. There was more problem then just nozzel and filter..
Some how you respect warm house and hot water when you have -10c outside. Fireplace is big plus!

The workbench looks good, and it's nice and flat so you can do bigger pieces on it also. The cabinet is a nice find, love the measurement tools!

I'd recommend trying to find a place where you are going to store the air compressor, and make a little soundproofing. Will be much nicer each time you use it. Also, you can use an extension cord with a switch (if rated enough), so you can switch it on and off remotely. Just leave it accessible enough to be able to drain the water once in a while.

Also, my life is so much easier with hose reel. Just get one. There was one in lidl for €20 for 10m. I bought from puuilo, I think about €40 for 10-12m. The bigger the diameter of the tube, the more "power" you will have. You will need it for example when opening rusty bolts or wheel bolts which are stuck.

Thank you and thx for the tip, Matias!
Price for the hose reel was cheap, let's see how it work's? I finaly hang the tool closet on the wall, Wood working tool's are now in same place. That air compressor store is good idea, dust and dirt will stay a way then.

For that price, even if it works half well it's worth the price :) I nearly bought the same one, just to get one closer to the garage door, for car and bike tyre inflation so I wouldn't need an extension.

That cabinet is good! It's always nice to have a single place for certain type of tools. Always easier to find, and when the tools have a certain place, it's also easier to put them back, so the garage stays clean.
