What do you mean by "die hard?"
Mike
someone that:
•goes to Home Depot just to check if prices dropped on things they’ve been watching
•has 10+ Brickseek browser tabs open to check inventory at their local stores
•looks in the shelves above more than the normal shelves since the best deals are often times sitting in the racks rather than on display, since they would’ve been sold already if advertised as such
•searches the store computer price checkers for deals in categories they shop (ryobi, husky, DeWalt, smart, WiFi, etc) to catch deals that may be at other stores or not on display at the store they are in
I do all this pretty often especially when HD is changing out a lot of product. I enjoy the “hunt“ for a good deal and also like getting tools for cheaper that I normally would be too cheap to buy.
deals I’ve recently got using these methods are:
•40v ryobi leaf mulcher: $32.25
•40v pole saw: $29.75
•kreg jig: $25.03
•Bosch distance measurer: $18.03
•4 gal echo backpack sprayer: $1
Most of this i‘d be too cheap to buy for the full price, so I wait for deals to pop up and jump on them.
