I did look at the truck yesterday, but nothing to report, it would be a really cool thing if I didn't already have50 projects going on (I think 50 may be a bit light).
Yesterday turned into a fiasco, the maroon burb was making a rattling noise, wasn't sure what it was, but nothing seemed off other than the noise and it wasn't from the engine or transmission area. I figured out what it was, the emergency brake was having issues. I tried to fix it, but actually made things worse, at this point I knew I was going to be in for some repairs so I drove it, smoke and all......
Then I tried to drive goldfender, but the steering box is so loose, after 35 MPH it is near impossible to keep it between the lines, I am sure I looked like a drunk driver, so I swapped that out for the company F-350. At some point during all this I tweaked my knee, so it was hurting a bit, not too bad, but enough to let me know it was sore. Then my Brother calls and asks if I can go and look at a commercial building he is thinking of buying, the realtor and a few other people are also coming over, but he wanted me to see it first. So I went over to his place around 3 PM, we went to the place and proceeded to walk through the woods for an hour touring all the property lines, at this point my knee was telling me to quit it. The real estate agent showed up as well as all the other people (including Dad) and we toured the inside of the space, now my knee is on FIRE. I ended up hanging out while everyone else talked and walked around looking at things. Next time I will bring my own wheels. After that we went back to my Brother's house and looked over the loan terms and possibilities for the space, it was very clear that it wasn't going to work for him with the all in costs. I went home around 9PM and iced my knee, it still hurts now, I am sitting here with a big ice pack on it.
So today may end up being a lot less of a day than I originally thought, but things happen........
At least it isn't 90 and humid, yet........
