If you're lucky. Their warranty USED to be good, but 2021 isn't what it used to be.
I took my one year old M18 tank sprayer to an authorized service center in March. Last week, I got a call back saying they wouldn't repair it, as it was "worn", and they had no proof of purchase. I lightly used the damned thing half a dozen times, and my response was that I purchased it THERE, so they had the receipt in their files.
Yesterday I got a call to pick it up, and would need to pay $20 for shipping (what's up with that?). I have no idea what happened behind the scenes, but the fact that they have a four month backlog isn't encouraging, and the fact they they're playing with people's warranties like that is well, disgusting. But what bothers me the most is that a tool that I BABIED, failed so easily that it's essentially disposable, when they have the nerve to charge $300+ premium prices just because it takes their batteries. If I come off as pissed, it's because I am.
But hey, good luck.
