But not at your wife !“Duck, or bleed”, just might have to steal that one
Reminds me of years back, I was playing whiffle ball with some neighbor kids. But not at your wife !
Did she press charges?I had a co-worker who was driving metal fence posts with a sledgehammer. His wife was holding the post with a level on it to make sure they were going in plumb... She ducked her head in closer to get a peek at the level. You can guess the rest.
Thanks Bears.![]()
Nice work on that rope![]()
Riv,Thanks Bears.
Fun little projects like this are about all I have time for right now.
I’ve spent the last few weeks spending my days taking care of my 90 year old parents.
my mom can’t walk much anymore, and is relying on my dad.
My dad ended up in the ER with really swollen feet. 4 more doc appointments later, and he’s finally on the mend.
We’ve got some hard days ahead.
Thank you for that. I really appreciate it.Riv,
Went through this with my in-laws earlier this year, you're right about the hard days ahead. Take it a day at a time, cherish the time you have remaining with them and know they appreciate all you are doing. PM me for my phone number if you ever need a break or just want to vent. Hang in there, better days ahead.
Scott
But you have a Newfie !Taking a mental health day tomorrow, but I’m a bit anxious because I don’t have a bilge pump![]()

Not goodMy dad and his mate were putting in timber posts up at our football pitch one evening. My dad on the sledge and his mate holding the posts.
For some reason my dads mate thought my dad had finished hammering and set his hand on top of the post with my dad in mid swing. Queue one badly broken/ cut thumb.
Jim,Is there a fix for the oars or do you find another set, I see they cross each other.
It was a good day.Looks like you and the Mrs. had a great day on the water, Riv. Boat looks like it belongs out there.en
Cool picture of you with the boat reflected in your sunglasses; would make a great GJ avatar.
No lie.Hats and sunglasses help. A lot![]()
I just read that Pass Lake, just South of campbell is fly rod only.My wildlife artist friend on Whidbey fishes Lake Campbell. Float tube and fly rod.
Yep, Bart fishes both. He spends most of the Fall running drift boat river trips on the peninsula. He's also the naturalist on a whale watching boat. First two pics are happy customers. Third is Bart.I just read that Pass Lake, just South of campbell is fly rod only.
it was closed due to an algae bloom.

Looks like he’s got it figured out!
Happy place!
Sure,I like it. Haul it out here and I'll take it off your hands.
Entering the gates to hell today
That’s only one of three sheds, and a 1000sf garage that look just like itPFFFT. Not even a fraction of the mess I dealt with before my move.
That's a purty pink crane you got there, Riv.Harbor freight for the win (again).
Moved my metal shorts/recycling bin to the new place. Just don’t know where it’s going to live![]()
Think Harbor Freight, think Craigslist, think my back don’t hurt right now. That's a purty pink crane you got there, Riv.
