And the mini split didn’t get installed today…. But I did get my pressure washer set up, the garage doors hooked back up, and miscellaneous electrical hooked up. Also - still need to buy some lighting.
This is what happens when you know how to work on stuff , you never get a break LOL and this is also why I live 600 miles from my nearest family member. they can pay someone where they are or it can stay broken.Checked the brakes on moms 2017 Camry they are at 3mm. Will need to be replaced soon. Dad is angry they only made it 27,000 miles. In my opinion that’s good for brakes. Tires are at 4/32 so they will need to be replaced as well them and the brakes are original. In Virginia it’s 2/32 for brakes and tires so probably both need to be done before February when the inspection is due. Probably will throw some Yokohama tires on it or something we don’t like Bridgestone and the Michelin series for it everyone is telling me to avoid so I will be doing that. Probably will get OEM pads since I get a discount at work. Tomorrow I plan to rotate the tires on dad’s Camry. Change the oil and rotate the tires on moms car. And probably change the oil in my truck and maybe rotate the tires too.

Haha. I don’t mind it really. My parents have always been there for me so I figure it is part of my appreciation for that. Honestly I love working on stuff. At least I know who is fixing it and not having some hack do it. When I was a kid and didn’t fix stuff yet my dad went to some sketchy shops and always seemed to get screwed somehow by someone messing something up.This is what happens when you know how to work on stuff , you never get a break LOL and this is also why I live 600 miles from my nearest family member. they can pay someone where they are or it can stay broken.
Thanks!SWEEEEEEEET ride Smackey!![]()
The '69 and '70 fastback Mustangs are my absolute favorite 'muscle car era' vehicles (and I'm not a Ford guy).
2/32 seems crazy worn for tires, here 3/32 is a fail and I replace them long before that because they get too sketchy on anything but dry roads.Checked the brakes on moms 2017 Camry they are at 3mm. The previous owner painted the roof of my dark met gray '06 Frontier a satin black due to paint checking. It's not very noticeable except when you stand in the bed. Not a fan of water based vehicle finishes.
Thanks. I definitely will. That is once it’s up and running . Guy kinda exaggerated on how long it set for because the last inspection was 2007.
They look good. I would suggest adding a 1/4 turn ball valve before each hose reel. This allows you to isolate them if they have an issue.
Really nice car. Curious on the tires if I’m seeing right the lettering looks yellow is that custom or did you manage to find yellow letter tires? Very cool either way and I love the car.
Nope. Just the tires look bad. I haven't been able to clean them up. Taking the blue off the front isn't revealing the white and the back looks yellow.... Very disappointed in this set of tires. I've always had good luck with BFG though.Really nice car. Curious on the tires if I’m seeing right the lettering looks yellow is that custom or did you manage to find yellow letter tires? Yes,these are the originals off my convertible.I have nos fenders so these are extras. The biscayne, bel air,and Impala fenders are all the same, with the exception of the holes for the spears and short trim piece. Are those Impala fenders?
