imposing order as we move my folks in stages, had to clear this mess up to make room for the next / last load out of CA.
Out of CA. Now that's good to hear! Wife and I got out of CA in 2013 after living, working, and paying income taxes, and other taxes, there for over 20 years. Best thing we ever did.

Put the front brakes back on the Mustang after waiting on Powerstop to assist in fixing an issue. KIMG1398.JPG
Crickets. . .
I remedied the issue with removing the bent as **** clips off the exterior pads and an 1/8" wheel spacers. About to go for a test drive.KIMG1399.JPG

My uncle's car that he has given to me, parked in his garage in 1973. First time it's seen sunlight in 48 years. 1962 Triumph TR3B with 59k original miles. Headed out for an engine rebuild and then I'll have 4-6 months with the body to get some things done. My cousin, who is about 10 years younger, started getting emotional because she's never seen it out of the garage. No turning back now.

Started pulling out the front suspension on the car. I added the 1" lowering spring on the driver side and it appears that the car didn't drop at all..... I'm planning on doing the passenger side this week, drive the car, and hope they settle into position or else off they come and time to cut!

found my new ball was a little loose on the hitch . so tonight after work i backed it up to the garage and got out the 36" long pipe wrench and the 6ft pipe and CRANKED IT DOWN TIGHT :shocking:
Thats why I have started to weld a bead on mine, so they can't come loose.

Andersen24 got me all fired up ! After seeing his layout, I bought some socket organizers like in his photos and on Saturday I am going to get the US General 72 inch rolling tool cabinet. I will retire the wooden sideboard tool holder! It will be nice to be able to find my tools without a search each time and fighting to get the drawers open.

I fitted the Bilstein shocks to the front of my 89 S10 4wd Blazer this morning. That went OK but I should have checked after finding that the NAPA lower balljoint would not fit. Well today I found out that the upper replacement balljoint wouldn't fit either. I ordered a Delco upper balljoint. After that I relaxed and mowed grass lol.

Delco, and other OEM parts are often very close to aftermarket parts in price these days.

Yes I found that the Delco rear flexible hose was cheaper on Amazon than it was in the NAPA store.

Put the recently hardtailed 73 Sportster back into roller status. Got a new dining table from a friend. Currently sitting in the garage until I get enough energy to get it in the house. The legs are not removable, so it will have to come in the front door and then up 10 steps to the main floor.

Not *in* my garage..but garage related as I had to go in there to grab a terry shop towel...

I have four pairs of Levi's in regular rotation. For some reason, on these four pairs the hem at the bottom of the leg turns up. This has never happened with other Levi's I've worn over the past 50 years or so.

So today I fired up the iron & actually pressed the bottom 1in of the legs using a damp rag. No idea when I last used an iron. Maybe at Lackland about 30 years ago. Got an education in their use when I was at a RN Boarding School in the early '70's.

So now I have three of the four pairs where the hem doesn't turn up (I'm wearing the other pair).

Job jobbed :)

Just added a new 2'' ball to my truck. 4 ugga duggas with the fuel followed by a quick yank with the 40 '' breaker bar. not coming off easy anytime soon.

Brake work on the Cushman Truckster. Changing out drums and broke the speedo drive gear removing it from the original drum. Brazed it. Excess braze has been blasted off. Heated gear and got it installed. So far so good, hasn't popped.

@Pompey you'll be happy with both! The 72" is perfect for what I need and the Westling socket organizers are phenomenal!!!! Post pics when you're done!

After some gardening (have to get the underground part of an axed tree out, not funny!). I decided I had 15 minutes time to do something in the garage. I found a cheap led light a while back and fitted these to one of my model displays (still have to trim the wires). Now I have to find more of these as it worked out quite nice.Vitrine.jpg

I barely had enough time to walk out into the shop... take a whiff of how it smells, make sure the son's rock tumbler hasn't walked off the front of the workbench, then come back inside.

Kids have fall sports going on and hat knocks out most of our evenings.

oh. wait... I don't remember if it was Monday or Tuesday, but I cut some more of the Daikan foam for my paint gun storage. I'd show pictures, but it looks like a bit of a hack job. Trying to get the foam cut around the odd shapes in the bottom of the tool box I used was difficult at best.

A rainy day and good for assembling the passenger front side of the Blazer. I hope the balljoint for the other side will arrive later today.

Where did you get the tire rack from ?....that looks like something I could add to my barn and get some more floor space back

You guys and gals are lapping me. All I've accomplished today is to note the next items to go the thrifts (working on greatly reducing my garage stuff hoard). At the rate I'm going I should be done by 2099.

In the laundry room next to the garage...

Fixed the washing machine. The power button stopped working over the weekend.

I did what every good electrical engineer does and unplugged the machine and plugged it back in. This 'worked', but you had to unplug the machine between each use.

Today I finally fixed it permanently... I googled and found out the control board can go into a lockout state for some weird reason... The fix is pretty easy... Unplug the machine and hold down two buttons for 5 seconds to reset it.

Of course, when the wife asks later, I'll tell her it took half the day and that I had to disassemble most of the machine.

Gracias. My phone is for work too. Imagine the sirens and red flashing lights that would go off in our home office if I searched for that. :D

A week ago, I was brought an inexpensive picture frame in pieces. I told Mrs Nadogail that I would see what I could do with it. Couple of days ago I was asked if it should be taken to the frame shop for repair. Today I started on the repair, because if the job goes to the frame shop I will have to pay for the reframing of 6 pictures because the frame shop will not deal repairing an inexpensive plastic frame and all the frames need to match.
I have two sides glued together and have to wait 24 hours for the joint to cure.
