Yeah thats too much for that vise. Mine weighs 63 pounds with 4.5" jaws and I paid $50.
You guys are making me have Vise envy, so I've been shopping around.
Here's one that's listed in my local area but I don't know?, 175 bucks-seems pricey for a cheapskate like me! what do you experts say. I guess the guys getting some free posting, thanks to me.

Two of my records, the biggest n smallest.
The 114 is 8" and got it with the property, been sitting outside since forever. The small one is a model 2075 Record 3.5", never seen another one like it. Will be bringing the old Record inside soon. Maybe fix it up, the jaws are no longer square.
Rgrds
Picked this up today off Kijiji (same as Craigslist) From a retired gent, mid 70s maybe, who used to own a garage here in town for over 40 years. Now his shop is an 8x10 garden shed and he's never found room to mount it so he sold it to me. 6" jaws, no markings other than the 150 which I assume is mm?
Everything works smooth, no wobbles, only a few dings on the pads. He doesn't remember when or where he got it but said he had it in his shop for decades. Anybody know where it's from.
You may want to take the paint off of the slide. It often gums up.
I love the fire engine red!
*shelf* vise
