Around here they fill them with pine tree trunks and ship them back overseas
In Texas they are making them into fences!

I think if Strouty alternates container then 'burb then container etc he would have a very handsome and sturdy fence for the the SG! He won't even lose any storage space!

Years ago I was having a dispute with a neighbor over a property line, we thought it was all settled, then he sent henchmen out to cut down all my trees that buffered our house from his. I thought about using school busses as a fence to get even, but my GF didn't want to look at the busses either. Took another year, a lawsuit, and several thousand dollars before we could install a fence without having any issues. The guy was a real *****, he ended up dying at his kitchen table after a night of booze and drugs, not what I would have wished on him, but things were much better once he was gone.

And Uncle Willie didn't need to come over in the middle of the night to help with the backhoe.

I am still kicking, a bit more stuffed up than yesterday, but I spent 15 minutes walking in circles around the inside of the house. I am going crazy being stuck here.

Was wondering how it was going.........otherwise, everything okay?
The isolation, I think can be a royal pain for active people.

I can’t say I am any better, but also no worse, going to test again on Thursday. Slight headache, intestinal issues randomly, sore back and neck.

Did you get COVID?
Yes he did see post (is on the previous page)
You guys are killing me!

As for being tested, I did that, it was positive, I woke up yesterday to essentially no smell or taste, but it came back by dinner time. I could schedule a PCR lab test, but then I get the CDC on my back. At this point I am quarantined and that is all they would do anyways. I wasn’t vaccinated, but apparently I am now. I am going to test again soon for giggles. One notable thing for me was my heart rate had been elevated for the last few days, it is back to normal now as well, it was never scary high, but it was higher that normal and I could tell. Honestly I feel better, like it has run its course, maybe that “S” isn’t for Strouty, is there a phone booth nearby?

Most of my friends that got it were ok (loss of taste / flu like symptoms) except one who got very sick and needed hospitalisation (was on intensive care for 2 weeks on a ventilator). All of them were double vaccinated and the one who got very sick was told he probably would not have made it without. Sadly he is still not 100% and that is 2 months later. The weird thing is he was one of the fittest & healthiest of all them who got it (pre covid) and would have been the last one I would have predicted to suffered the most from it. Also two of his sons got it (mildly) but his wife, daughter & other son didn't tested positive or had any symptoms while all living under the same roof.

Anyway, take care Strouty and if your condition gets worse go and get medical help asap because he told to me afterwards he stayed home too long thinking he would be ok.

As a counterpoint to this statement, i saw a statistical analysis literally yesterday that vaccination has no effect on outcome.

Strouty, take care of yourself and take some vitamins!

Sources?

Reviewing the data, I would say there is a very strong correlation between vaccination status and outcome.
Here's my source on that:

And a distance relative of mine passed away last week due to COVID, unvaccinated... and 2 weeks ago, another unvaccinated relative passed away due to COVID.

Strouty, don't wait too long... might be good to get checked out.

There is no question that the vaccine does something, I was almost there until it became apparent that it was going to be a never ending series of shots. That turned me off, I want to see what happens a little bit longer term. While this *****, I haven’t been sick since early 2020, so I was due anyways. And don’t worry, since I wasn’t vaxxed, I plan on dying at home so I don’t take up a hospital bed.

Yesterday was probably the worst day, due to the headache, body aches, and frequent bathroom trips. After I went to sleep, I woke up in a puddle, pretty sure I had a high temp, it went away fairly quickly and when that was done, the body ache and headache were also gone. After that I had the best sleep I have had in a couple weeks. This morning I feel pretty good, fingers crossed that I am turning the corner.

Mixed feelings this morning, had a coughing fit that was a cross between a cough and dry heave, that was not fun. Then I got the chills for a bit, coincided with a smoothie, so could have been partly from that. Now I am feeling about normal, hope that continues.

I have a 36 year old cousin, vaccinated and a professional athlete with zero comorbidities who passed away 3 weeks ago from Covid.

Everybody has a story about somebody they know and there's not enough factual data to draw conclusions.

I check regularly for your updates, hoping you are still ok. Be careful. It's a steep and fast downhill, if and when that occurs.

Same. I keep checking. I hope his girlfriend is monitoring him close and he goes to a hospital if he needs to.
