Planning rigid tile install in garage. Has typical raised 'step' on last 3' of length, at back wall, that is level with home flooring. Assume a female edge can be used like at overhead/garage door, but obviously the vertical portion is still exposed. Could paint this small vertical area, perhaps also stem wall, to a color similar to some of the tiles.
Anyone have issues with tiles on step up portion? Even with female edging, the tile edging would have to be back off the edge of the cement so shoe doesn't catch and lift the tiles.
Another option would be to paint the whole step area and use tiles only on the rest of the floor. I found some examples pics of this.
Thoughts?
