Fixed an oil leak in the baby skid steer. Snow removal resumed and finished!
Now that it's dark all the time, work is limited to either well it outdoors, or heated and well lit indoors. The choice is obvious.
Bought 5 boys axe heads on eprey and some handles from house handle as projects my 10yo son and i can work on together. Making chips and dust!

I wish. No, I was literally pinched n bit by the stupid floppy folding step linkage. Got a nasty blood blister and a couple bruises to show for it. Learned my lesson, next time hit Target and buy another step stool.

Received appliances for the kitchen extension which is behind schedule. Had to take them and stash in garage as their warehouse was packed. Range, freezer, and speed oven still back ordered.

Did the oil change on my wife's 16' Equinox. Was 60* this morning and slated to drop this afternoon, so got it done at 8am lol.

Left both doors open about 3in to dry out the carpet.
Needed to get another sheet of hardboard for the backer. Was up way too late and when you need 50in piece out of a sheet you only get one chance. Needless to say by the time the 50in piece went to table saw it was fed in wrong.
Yeah, cut the 4ft side.
But getting there.
Was going to stain and poly but I changed that plan.
There will be 2 sets of drawers in the box.

Skis are swapped and the black loops are on. So much of a better look. The sled is going back into the trailer and hopefully we get rideable snow this year.

Buddy called and wanted to use the 4-post to allow potential buyer to look at the underside of his '68 Shelby GT350. So, uncover and back the '13 Corvette out, wait for him to arrive to take the '66 Charger off the lift (I can't drive for another 2+ weeks due to foot tendon repair surgery) and get his Shelby on the lift and up in the air for inspection. Reverse the process and everything is back to slumbering until I can drive again in early January (I HOPE!!!!).

Finally finished putting up 1/2 plywood around the entire shop 8 ft high and wire in 10 gauge wire into the box for the future lift. Been a long time coming and will always be more to do.
That’s funny about the reference to Sean Connery, he did say a woman needs a good slap now and then.

I ordered a new one online. I could only find a source that sold two cords. I figured I could eventually use the second one.
I replaced the output shaft seal on my transfer case for the f250. Ive been meaning to do it. This week I went to ford and got the right seal. I took my time and knocked it out in a hour. The seal had a bunch of cracks and was starting to open up. After that I stole someones idea about a metal rose. Mine didnt turn out as good as his but this will work. Im gonna make another one for the wife for her office. This one will be going to my mom.

Gotta get the hood latch to release on my ‘15 Focus so I can fix that issue once and for all from underneath. THEN I can diagnose why the car was dead after work last night. Took a personal day off today. Waitin for the better half to wake up so she can jiggle some things while I watch from this vantage. Car will get an oil change too this weekend.

Batteries came in for my glow plug driver, so I ran the nitro rustler a bit to test the new tyranny. Everything is working well.
Looking forward to Christmas when me and my two kids can bash around the front yard together.

Kept working my way through the brake system on the F-350. Today, the fronts were done. Next step is trying out the Motive power bleeder that I just bought.

Finished wiring the icicles, and hung them on the chandelier. Jacked the chandelier back up into the ceiling.

I loved my '11 WRX Limited, but I'm really impressed with my '18 STI Limited. Well, except for the rdiculously dlecate brake caliper paint, the the reverse lock out rattle and the cold weather rear deck rattle I can't seem to locate. Minor flaws, I admit.
When we stumbled across the '18 for almost $15 below list, Mrs. LS6 said, "Go get your old car. We can trade it in". I love that woman.

Today I finally installed the Bilstein 5100s in the rear of my F150. The ride quality is much improved!

I can't believe how easy that Motive power bleeder was.Kept working my way through the brake system on the F-350. Today, the fronts were done. Next step is trying out the Motive power bleeder that I just bought.
My normal brake bleeding procedure used to involve my wife pushing on the pedal and me on each bleeder screw. This time I pumped up the power bleeder and opened up each bleeder to let the clean fluid run out. A few minutes at each corner of the vehicle and I was done. It was so easy I thought that maybe I did something wrong. But a quick drive showed me that I can actually follow directions and now I have operating brakes.
A thumbs up for the Motive unit.

Started disassembly and cleaning of the Berkel meat slicer.
I think the health department may have had something to do with why the restaurant closed. This thing hasn't been cleaned in a looong time!

Relamped a fluorescent closet fixture with LED. Discovered and discarded a lot of dead or dying components. It turned out OK. Other than the slight delay, you can't tell anything's been done.
i cleaned the garage a bit. my cousin poured a new walk and garage door apron so i have some of his tools here still so i cant fully clean up.
I cannot wait till this summer when I build a better shed outside and knock down the other one the previous homeowner didnt put a foundation under.

Spent part of the day binge/speed reading posts on this thread from early July onward. Many awesome projects as expected. And now a contribution, it's not really woodworking, more like working with wood. - some used plywood that was repurposed for the festive season.

Brought a new stainless steel table and immediately went to town to cut it up. Now my weber kettle sits inside it and I got lots of room to put my stereo and cold beer out in my bbq area on the deck.

I’m gonna buy that brake bleeder and try it on my truck. I watched a video and it looks super simple. No more going back and worth pushing on the damn brake pedal and refilling the master cylinder worrying it’s gonna go dry.

I've been working on this since yesterday. Awhile back one of the neighbors set this big wood table out for bulk trash pickup. I loaded it up and brought it home. I forgot to get any "before" pictures, but it looked like it had been used as a kids craft table. It had several deep scratches, different colors of paint dripped on it everywhere and a couple spots where the finish was completely gone. Spent the day stripping, cleaning, sanding, re-staining the top. I have a couple more coats of clear to finish. Will probably be my new home office desk when it's done.
