Ah the good old days when I lived around 6-8 HD stores…. Now one within 300 miles.
Picked up a box last week for $16. Hope they hold up as I’ve spent more for a single brand name bed/bath door handle . Not top tier but it works well for my rentals.I found some Defiant door knob whole house packs at my local one. $16 for 3 privacy knobs, 3 pass through ones, a dead bolt and an exterior keyed knob. Wife had been wanting to replace all the bronze knobs from the 70s in our house, so these will do nicely. I bought the 3 they had, which covers just about every door in the house.
I tried looking them up but the website said not in stock anywhere and no price listed, so no clue how much the kit originally was. Box said it was a $76 value so I am guessing around $50 originally.
Thanks. Needed s couple of the larger sized. $27, why not?Gearwrench universal impact socket set. $26.94

I believe these X-core sockets are the ones that performed poorly compared to competition in the Torque Test Channel’s torture test. I believe the issue was poorly conceived metallurgy, with one mating component (the X core?) being significantly harder than the other, with the result that under abuse, the softer part wore very quickly compared to cheaper Neiko and Sunex competitors.Thanks. Thanks for the info. I have the Sunex Master(?) sets in both 3/8” and 1/4”. There's only a few larger sizes in this GW set, so I grabbed it.I believe these X-core sockets are the ones that performed poorly compared to competition in the Torque Test Channel’s torture test. If you don’t beat the **** out of them they’ll probably do fine, but might as well just get the sunex or the neiko instead in my opinion.
@JohnKal Were those the only Suncast sheds on clearance? Specifically, did they have taller ones on clearance?
My stores often have lighting (and sink) fixtures on sale, but they're usually trendy (and ugly). Some of the ones in your pic aren't too bad, and the prices are great!

From reading other threads some Home Depot stores will stop carrying Spax screws and are clearing them out. I wonder how many of the stores with Spax screws on clearance have anything left by now?Spax are incredible. I would supermarket sweep the shelves if my HD put them on clearance.
I was replying specifically to some posts at the very end of this thread.Pssst, guys, it's 2022 now:
