When were they purchased? What is the amp rating printed on the side? Thanks

Purchased at the beginning of June. 300v 20amp

I have the Wagos for #10 as well, but they are out in the shop.

I got some back in late September/early October time frame (from the vendor so date of manufacture I don't know).

One side has the UL logo and is 450V/32A
The other side (with PSE logo) is 20A/300V

so whats the difference between the 20a and 32a rating? stranded vs solid?

No, it's just that the original 221 series (221-41x) is limited to 12 AWG (down to 24AWG), or 0.2-4mm^2 in communist sizing.
The 221-6 series are fine for 30amp on the #10.
Right. Because the new 221-61x will accept 10AWG (down to 20AWG), or 0.5-6mm^2 in communist sizing.

ok im tracking.

this is a 221-413. so 20a.

this is a 221-???? since its only to 12g? which is 32a (isnt 32a the ring circuit size in brittan?)

That's the 221-61x on the back-side. It corresponds with the 32A rating on the 221-41x.
Forget the amp rating, as it's not important to you*. All you really care about is the wire size.

*Simply put, you're not going to have more than a 30A breaker, or a 24A continuous heating load on a 10AWG wire. Yes, you might be able to put a welder fed with 12AWG on a 50A breaker in some circumstances, but it's still not overloading the smaller Wago since the Wago ampacity is always higher than the admissible wire gauge. So if you're following the code with regards to the wire, and use the Wago that accepts that wire, you're all good.

Ahh duh. if the wire can fit it can handle the amp rating on the wire at 90c chart.
