Have a pair of the Dunlop’s for work. Awesome boot. The best I have found are Dunlop Purofort. A thermal lined boot you can wear all day and your feet do not get tired or cold. These came as recomendations from my wife's Newfie fishermen relatives...they wear them all day on their boats. Like this...
Dunlop Protective Footwear E66284307 Purofort Thermo+ Full Safety Omega/EH Cold Protection Boot, Premium Insole, -58°F Cold Insulation, Steel Toe Cap, Green/Brown, Size 7 : Amazon.ca: Industrial & Scientific

We get ours from Ranpro in Simcoe. Lined boots with liner, w/o steel toes were about $40 per pair at their Friday garage sale. Call to see what is going on these days.

Heading to the Baffin website now.Baffin or Kamik.
Workboots?
Ive been wearing Baffin Drillers for years. Nice and toasty.
Also have Dunlop Purofort but they arent as warm and can cut into the calfs.
I'd be careful of Keen. I had a pair that were a few months old and one of the soles was coming off.
They said to take them back to where I got them. They were a gift from far away, so no way to take them back.
They said to buy some glue and repair it myself (which didn't work). Not willing to exchange them. Essentially no warranty and crappy customer service.
I have an ancient pair of the original LL Bean Maine hunting boots. My feet have never been cold in them. My feet don't get cold easily though.

Sorel's quality has really gone downhill. They where bought out and quality has hit the skids.80’s pair of Sorels keep my toes warm all day ice fishing.
Moved from made in Canada to Made In the Other Side of the Pacific.Sorel's quality has really gone downhill. They where bought out and quality has hit the skids.
You can thank being bought out by Columbia for that. Just another fashion brand now.Moved from made in Canada to Made In the Other Side of the Pacific.
I got a pair of these in 2012 (just checked Amazon). My daily knock around boot in the winter, I love them. They're the Anchorage.
Hmmm... I'd probably be buying them from Keen's website, but...I'd be careful of Keen. I had a pair that were a few months old and one of the soles was coming off.

The Blundstones (500/550) on LL Bean are interesting, but the sizing seems a bit squirrelly (Aussie sizing, which I think is similar/same as UK sizing, which would put me in an 11 based on my 12D Brannock, but their estimator tool says 12, which their table converts to 13). I'm guessing their estimator tool isn't accounting for the non-US sizing).
Those look in interesting - thanks for the suggestion. They don't seem to have any of the Chelsea style boots in my size, but sent them an email.Skip the Blundstones... they are now made in China
Go for the Redbacks, same boot but still made down under (and awesome)
and iirc AUS to US sizing is one size smaller- so if you wear a US11 buy a AUS10
Just heard back - looks like spring before the next batch is in, and they offered to let me pre-order.Those look in interesting - thanks for the suggestion. They don't seem to have any of the Chelsea style boots in my size, but sent them an email.
