That sounds promising! That looks a lot like my Craftsman (husqvarna) mower from 2011. 46" cut, 21 HP single cyl Briggs Intek. Has worked great on the flat acre it mows. Blown a couple head gaskets but it is a Briggs engine. If it is a husky a spindle will be no problem. The last ones I got from Amazon have been great. I think the grease zerk on these is the key.
Yeah, looking up parts, show cross compatibility among several craftsman/husky models.
I ordered a key already, as I don’t want to hack wiring to jump it. And looking around on Amazon, I can get a spindle for $20 or so, or a deck rebuild kit for about $100.
When the key gets here, and I hear it want to run, I’ll order the rest of the parts.
Man, I hope this one doesn’t have a bad head gasket lol
I have 5 acres. Mostly “mostly” flat. Some bumps and some inclines where the elevation changes and meets the road.
Looks like I’ll be right at the $200 I was guessing earlier if I buy the deck rebuild kit (all new spindles and blades) vs just getting the single spindle it needs. The blades don’t look too bad, but if I’m gonna be that far in…
